Ajr x jon bellion. I like it alot! If you were to change thing i would probably say you were a tiny bit off beat at certain points but i love it! You mixed awesome little ad libs with a catchy hook and everything sounded good in general. Keep it up man.
Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart. The beat being off at certain times were intentional (as i am heavily inspired by J Dilla - rest in peace), but since this was literally only the second song I made in my entire life, I didn't know how to carry it out properly. Great advice though, totally agree!! :D And YES wow i am so glad you noticed, My goal was to make clever ad-libs so people could catch on after a couple listens! AJR and Jon are my inspirations. Honestly came here expecting what I usually see out of people that advertise in comment sections. Didnt expect to really like it at all. Didnt expect it to be done well. I like this a lot!!!!!! It takes you to a place and a feeling. You wrote it because it needed to be written and you did it well. As somebody that often writes songs because I have to (they aren't anywhere near this good) I can feel where you are coming from. I can imagine someone sitting down and writing this because they needed to. Not because you needed another song to make money from but because there was a piece of your soul that needed to escape and this is it. I love it. Good job.
