  • WEATHERMAN JAMIE SIMPSON LOSES HIS TEMPER ON THE AIR! (EXTENDED VERSION!) “Thanks for Interrupting that show!”
As “The Bachelorette” episode passed the half way mark on Monday evening Dayton and much of Western Ohio began to experience severe storms! As the storms began producing dangerous weather, Jamie Simpson (Fox45 Weatherman) did “his JOB” and (thankfully) cut live into programming! As was shared on social media, this did not sit well with fans of The Bachelorette, who began commenting things like, “Jamie you ruining our night!” And even, “Jamie has ruined The Bachelorette!” This “extended” video shows the buildup and Jamie proudly sticking to the reason that he was Live on the air! To save lives, which he did! As many didn’t know at the time, not even Jamie, these storms would produce a widespread Tornado outbreak, with over a dozen Tornados in Ohio alone! These Deadly tornados claimed one victim and would have certainly taken many more had it not been for Jamie and the rest of the media cutting into television programming and going Live and sharing the alerts and even the locations of the Tornados! Hats off to Jamie for standing his grounding! I was likely one of those lives that were saved!!!

he was likely watching it all start over here in central Indiana I believe the cell that did end up in Dayton started its first tornado in Madison County IN, (pendleton) where it dropped a EF3 (without looking I believe it was EF3) did a lot of damage, then dropped another one in Henry County,IN on its track to Ohio.
Best tip to do for you over in Dayton is to watch what is going on in Indiana, it will give an Idea what you will see in a couple hours. like I watch cent/east Illinois to see what we may be facing.

Infact most of the time i will get warning on the weather radio before i get it on TV or phone and even then if its for my county the TV tends to go out before the phone and the radio is always silent listening for warnings and is most reliable and does not need to go through channels to receive warnings has battery backup and will only go out if the actual transmitter is damaged or broken and needs repairing.

I'm sure people moaned and complained about their show being interrupted, but what those people don't understand, is if they don't interrupt programming like that, hundreds, maybe even thousands of people could die. I'm sure those same people, don't want to lose their life because of a tornado. I commend Mr. Simpson for sticking to his guns and doing his job. As for the people who moaned and complained, just remember, you're alive now because of him interrupting the program you wanted to watch, there is a such thing as a re-run you know.
