    Why not use the switch between the Battery + and the starter? The car won't start, but you don't loose all other functions. You wouldn't want the car to die while tooling along the Intestate during rush hour. The car also becomes less controllable which is a big liability.

      @@TMC-15Jan45 on an older car its alot simpler but on a modern car you would need to tap into the starter relay circuit in the fuse box and with all those wires around that, no one is gonna go near that..unless of course you move the relay out of the fuse box into its own connector outside of the box like what you would do as a regular kill switch..

      It's a good guess you never bought one of these things made from overseas..there are no instructions but pictures in a foreign language

    What you must remember is your car computer will be reset your radio codes will have to be put in etc good for storage.
