Hey guys, I don't make Stardew Valley content anymore and just wanted to give you a heads up in case you plan on subbing. Glad you guys enjoy the videos so much and I do miss my time with Stardew but have moved on from the game. Best of luck to you in Pelican Town!
thatdenverguy Thanks for making great Stardew videos!
And moved to fortnite why?
A shame you don’t make the content anymore I was just getting into it, however I still enjoy watching your old videos about star dew! :)
Another great youtuber for Stardew Valley is DangerouslyFunny.
Where u get Soo much hard wood from
This game looks like fun!
DangerouslyFunny it's called Stardew Valley - it's a divorce simulator. You should check it out!
thatdenverguy x3
Lol!
I heard someone married and divorced people like 20 times in that small town
I heard that someone was really mean to there children and called them "Dumpy"
This vid made me cry. Why? Well I got a multiplayer mod and played with my friend and we designed a farm and talked for hours. I wanted to spend every second with him because he was moving to Europe for 3 years. We talked for hours and hours and our parents dident even stop us because they knew how important this was to us. Now we are roomates and we play games together every day now. While he was gone this game helped my deal with my depression from losing my greatest friend.
Such a beautiful story, you are lucky to have such a good friend
thatdenverguy thanks! And thanks for replying your one of my fav RUclipsrs
in case you're wondering I know Stardew valley hasn't been out for three years I was talking about harvest moon in case you were wondering lel
that’s so cool! i don’t think my parents would care quite as much thi
Go to Pierre's, buy him a bouquet, marry, have to kids, go to the witch, ask divorce, turn kids into doves.
I died inside when you destroyed your buildings instead of moving them... xD you poor soul!

This guy sounds like he would be a cool teacher to have

I haven't been on Stardew Valley in a couple months. I kinda want to go on now and start fresh after watching your redesign. I had no idea there was a farm planner!
Game with Briddy It's a little buggy but super fun to mess around with
actually the farm planner is a website.
@@GreyFireClover what’s the farm planner about? 🥺
Damn this game awakens all the inner child in all the people playing this. I love this game
...you could have just moved the buildings.........mate
EDIT: when you realized.....i felt thy pain xD
._.
my farm is so messy compared to this. i really like the way you redesigned it
*itches with farm jealousy*
Same. And i also have the forest farm, so i have NO room for ANYTHING XD
Good vid, one thing i always wished you could do is pick where you put your house or at least have options for the exterior look.
it also took me 3 seasons to finish redesigning my farm. I thought the total lack of symmetry is gonna drive me crazy at first cause I just placed a few random buildings haphazardly in different areas but it only worked out for the better. i dont plant much crops anymore but if I do its for aesthetic purposes only. and lots of flowers. lots and lots of flowers!
I cried a little watching you destroy all those buildings in the beginning T_T Overall wow this is fantastic!!!! Just wow.... You have inspired me!!!
Me on the Riverland layout (as a beginner btw) just baffled by the beauty in this
"Let's do what us teachers call, a hard draft." Let's do what us students call, stage 1 of hell
Denver's solution to everything=MORE BOMBS
The background music suits the game and feels so soothing as well. 🤗
Hardwood does look best, but you said it lasts the longest which doesn't matter cause you have a gold clock :)
love your vid
i'm too lazy to redesign my farm >_
GHOST CLASHER same
Same! Haha
GHOST CLASHER same I'm rich in the game but just I'm too lazy
Thats why my in game farms are boring and all of my design goes into farms from the planner..... witch i cant use
Same
This video is oddly very relaxing, glad I watched it and keep up the good work.
looks awesome man I think I might actually pick this game up because of you making it look so fun haha
This video must have taken you soooooo long to make dear Lord.
Rachel Ford quite a while! You called it
You're a teacher? That's awesome! I'm a math teacher.
I picked the wilderness plot and it's been a real challenge making that look even halfway decent with its awkward shape. Lots of nooks and the big pond right in the center that prevents having anything remotely symmetrical or square.
OMG thank you so much I just know that there is a online farm planner I can use. I have been planning my farm on paper and in my head for the past year this saves me so much energy!
i didn't even think twice when i placed my buildings on my first save & now with like 170 hours into it i want to redesign it so bad but i'm extremely lazy
this looks so good though!! definite inspiration
I would kill to see a collab between you and Joseph Anderson when multiplayer officially rolls out. Both of you guys seem like really intelligent, thoughtful gamers, and play a lot of the same games.
"I don't mind if I lose a couple of crops."
Every person at the beginning of the game: "If I lose one crop I won't make money."
Yea xD
Your farm looks amazing! I love your vids and I hope you keep it up!
It's pretty neat that when I was looking for RUclips gamers from Colorado I found your channel, which focuses on essentially the only video game I have played in the last year. (and continue to play on occasion, I haven't had the time to play in quite a long time.) Needless to say, I subscribed right away.
Greetings from NoCo!
Wow that online farm planning tool is incredibly helpful! Didn't even know it existed :) Thanks!
Liked and subscribed for that satisfying fast collect item noise. yesss haha
I have to say I'm really enjoying the Stardew Valley content on your channel! Was actually surprised to see you with only 4k subs cause your content is great quality and you sound like an experienced youtuber!
"Plus it'll last the longest." *planned to have golden clock on farm* I can't help but notice that, man.
i demand more butterfly
finally, Thanks so much for this video, I'm pretty bad at decorating my farm
Im actually pretty darn inspired by this.
*slowly wishper* "hey robin, you guys open?" - thatdenverguy 2k17
You are the best stardew valley youtuber!!!😃😃😃😃
thx for showing me stardew planner makes life so much easier
YEEEES, A thatdenverguy UPLOAD!! You just made my day
i wish DF and Denver would both come back to stardew
Im only year 2, going on year 3, but you've inspired me to redesign my farm.
if you use the slime hutch to produce slime eggs they sell for loads of money! (green slime egg= 1000g, purple slime egg = 5000g
I was inspired by that beehouse idea, but had to count out the spaces from the paths so I'd know where to put the walls. I counted out the spaces by putting down the weathered flooring and liked the look before building and placing the beehouses that I just left them and put said beehouses on top of them. Made one slight mistake, putting down two too many flooring panels where the flowers are supposed to go, but that's an easy fix and isn't cutting into profits as it is the 2th of Fall, Year 2 on this file I'm playing as of this comment and the bees from my original 18 beehouses have given me the last harvest of honey for the year.
Stardew Farm Planner?? How have I never heard of this?! This is awesome!
It looks absolutely lovely! I especially like the crop fields!
I really like your bee/honey spot
The sound of the sped up falling trees and destruction is so satisfying...
Beautiful job on the farm design.
FYI, sunflowers don't do anything for the honey.
Thanx, Cyn
I laughed so freaking hard about that move button!!! Even though you don't do Stardew vids any more, I like the ones you did make, so I subscribed anyway.
FYI, you don't get special honey from sunflowers. It'll just be regular honey.
Love the farm! I don't think I have the patience to completely revamp.
I wish i could move my house.
This is so cathartic.
for the slime hut i have the ring that makes you immune to any slime damage so i can take my time looking after them in there and hatching different colours lol
Hey thatdenverguy and apparently DangerouslyFunny. I have watched your (thatdenverguy's) video about "What to do with the rock quarry". I have an idea, its very hard, very expensive, and time consuming. Here it is:
If possible, do this steps:
1. Plant as many Ancient Fruit as you can in your farm and in your greenhouse.
2. While waiting for them to grow, make as much Kegs you can make and fill the quarry
3. When the Ancient Fruits are ready to harvest, harvest all of them then go to the quarry, finally insert them into the kegs. Extra Ancient Fruits can be sold or stored.
4. So you are waiting for the Ancient Fruits to be done processed, well you can sell those Ancient Fruits though. That is your plan B.
5. Sell the Ancient Fruit Wine
6. Repeat step 3 to step 6.
GG!
EDIT: This is for those who likes more money or gold, put them in a cask. Now your extremely happy. Best of all you can do this for a year or more. This can be done with Starfruit and it is very, very, very, very good.
What a wonderful way to farm trees! thanks!
Winter caves theme is definetly my favorite SV theme
Get the HarvestWithScythe mod. It makes harvesting much faster and prevents you from pulling flowers by bee houses.
You've likely already found out by now, but many of the trees you planted won't fully grow because they are too close to another tree or object. For the most part, trees need to have the immediate area surrounding it free from obstruction or they won't grow past the sapling stage. To be clear, if you put a tree within the center of a 3x3 square, the rest of the square will need to be unobstructed. I have no idea if tiles count as an obstruction, though.
This is not true for the three basic trees in the game. You can put those directly next to each other and they will grow. It's RNG when they go through their growth cycles, however, regardless of how far apart they are.
I've had mixed results with that. From what I've noticed, trees tend to grow at a steady pace, with some minor variation in the exact number of days between stages, so long as the 3x3 area around it is unobstructed. If there is a fully grown tree next to a sapling, the sapling would not finish growing, regardless of how long I waited. Maybe other types of obstructions, like rocks or branches, might not have an effect on the growth rate, but I'm quite certain that a fully grown tree prevents the growth of saplings in a 3x3 area around it. The change of season might alter those results though, since it effects the farm randomly. Of course, I've always felt that trees were oddly finicky in stardew valley, so the reason why I seemed to get those results during my tests could be wrong anyway.
then you haven't seen my farm in which I lined up a row of maple/pine/oak trees without any spaces between them and the trees grew. It took a while, because I think the RNG slows down if they are near others, but they still 'do' grow.
Fair enough. If it is RNG that causes it then I could have just been unlucky, oh well. I did only wait 2-3 seasons before switching to my current layout, which gives them more space.
You can catch this in action, if you leave a cluster of trees alone for a long time on your farm. They sprout saplings right next to the basic tree and those do grow. They don't follow the normal rules of fruit trees. Fruit tress have the restrictive nature to them, I think, to prevent spamming them. However fruit tress can only break even after an entire season of making fruit into wine and that's something you have to babysit. Most seasoned players after the community center is done, should remove fruit trees in favor of other things that make far more money.
I can't help but smile watching this!
You should use the empty space on the left next to your Junimo fields as an area for lightning rods
I wish I could take a screenshot of your final redesigned farm so I can steal some ideas that way I can look at it while redoing my farm.
Looks nice, and I'm hyped for stream tonight!
Sad to say I've been waiting for a video since last saturday :p see you tonight!
Looks amazing good job as always!

Ooooooo! The satisfaction!
I've noticed in several peoples videos that there are zoom in/out tabs in the upper right hand corner and that you also have them. I do not and have had the game since Feb-2017 with a couple hundred hours invested in it. I am addicted to this game so there you go. I was wondering where those tabs came from as I often would like to pan in and out to get a different perspective of the farm and other areas. Thank you for posting and Gos Bless from Florida.
you just need to change them to appear in the options menu
and who's gos?
I'm guessing that is how my brain works (or doesn't) when I tried to spell God. Please forgive me, I hope God did. I don't type so well with a bum left hand . Thank you for the tip. Another friend pointed out that option and for all the time I have into the game, almost 300 hours, I never thought to check for a scroll down. It was right there. Thank you again and God Bless.
Just casually walking past the tamed velociraptor. "And here's where I keep my extra chests."

I love these types of videos, so thanks for sharing :-)
Fun fact! If you put a prismatic shard in a jumino hut, they turn rainbow!
Heyho! Where do I find the Farm Planner thingie? Can you give me a link? :D

Gosh, that joe dirt clip.
I would LOVE to have a file of this farm, it looks so fun to play on!!

Your farm looks great!
looks great.
Love this! So cute. Just downloaded the game for the switch
Such an amazing game, tweet at me if you get your farm prettied up!

Spring cleaning!!!!
For the slim hut eat an onion I think it was. They repel them (idk, it something about onions). Then you have to set up fences with a gate into the main slime area. Iron fences look the best in there. That's what my brother did. He then put a couple random fences in the main are to slow the slimes down from attacking him as he collected their slime glob stuff.
I've never heard of eating an onion but a much easier way to approach the slim hut is to try and get the "Immune to Slimes Ring" (forget what its exact name is) Just go from floor 1-10 in the mines and slay every single slime. Once you reach 10 take the elevator back up to the top and start over. If you've gotten all the way to the bottom of the mines, I would suggest going on a bad luck day as there are more monsters that spawn and if you're just trying to grind for that ring it doesn't matter how long it takes you to get deeper. If you've slain all the slimes and don't feel like mining a ton of rocks, just go directly to level 5 or back to the top, or whatever through the elevator. Slay, bomb, heal and repeat :) Hope this helps a bit!
Close to 5k subs Denver!
I love your farm
Good design
The reason the tree seeds haven't grown is because trees won't grow to full size if there is another tree adjacent to them. Also, I know it's fall so you planted sunflowers but you probably already realized there is no sunflower honey.
With it being April fools I felt sure this was going to be a joke video! i'm glad it wasn't though, thank you for the farm tour!
No bamboozles here
Do you have a No Bamboozles Certificate? It's okay if not, I recently reupped my Bamboozles insurance.
Yes a fellow teacher gamer 👌🏼👌🏼
At 3:34 the Lorax must be depressed.
''Ya know , my stable with my raptor in it''
*what in the world*
I wish I could fix my farm. I chose that river type farm and now feel like it has too little space, don't even want to get started...
Make a Forest Farm next!
So cool!
Some colours in the chest dont hurt! XD
@ everyone hating on fruit trees, do you not make jelly out of them? I'm currently making a fortune producing Orange/ Pomegranate/ Cherry Jelly and many more... I stack my fruit up for winter too, since I don't have the greenhouse yet, and I make around 2-3000 gold a day... I'm also only in year 2, so that might be little money for advanced players.
I am just wondering, how did you put all the items in those displays in the house?
I want to make use of them by decorating my house too.
