Listening to you and your mom talk about all of different aspects from your childhood brought back a huge rush of memories from my childhood with my 7 siblings. My parents had 8 children 5 girls and 3 boys. Our brother Ricky unfortunately passed away from AML which at the time was considered a form of Leukemia that was diagnosed in adults. After our mother passed away in 2011 and we were sharing our different experiences and memories it was really strange to hear how different their perspectives and experiences were from what I remembered. Most of the differences were from before I was born, but some were much later on when I was 3+ years old and up. I didn’t realize just how different their relationships with our parents were from mine. I am #6 out of the 8 children. I had a very close relationship with both of my parents. The trauma of losing Ricky altered our parents and the older siblings who were alive at the time. My mother was actually in the hospital having just given birth to our brother Edward when they received Ricky ‘s diagnosis and he died 6 months later at the age of 5.5 years old literally days before our father’s birthday.
I'd love to see a singing challenge featuring your mom as well. In teams of 2 would love to see more singing with your mom. Also the podcast idea would be awesome. Special guests like your mom or some of your brothers would be cool
