Andrew genuinely felt disrespected from the beginning. He was going to let it slide until Alan called him manipulative, which had no prior context in the joke. It was just Alan being too drunk and Andrew making a stand.
EDIT: I've changed my mind. It seems set up after reviewing the 10:10 that was pointed out to me. I still think that it shouldn't have been in there. Especially, as they never revealed that it was a joke. Not my cuppa tea!

I'm sticking to my guns, they're lying about the fight being a skit to let tensions blow over or whatever, maybe because they made the weird decision to post it, maybe because Alan and Andrew agreed to tell everyone in the group it was a skit. The body language took me straight back to when I was a little kid and some of the more troubled bigger boys would snap on me. Anger issues dude.
Yeah. Alan was done after the slap but was worried his "friend" might get in trouble, so he slapped him back a few times to make it even. But Alan's slaps weren't hard like the other guy's, which clearly knocked Alan's blocking hand back a lot and still hit his face, there was hard impact there.
