One problem with God's Eye is that it isn't completely destroyed until the near end of Tales of Destiny 2. It took Leon's Swordian as the fifth sword needed to permanently destroy the Eye and end the cycle.
What a good game. Loved the first half, didn't like the second half with all the dungeons one after another and weird story. I can't beat the second form of Myktran & I won't do heavy grinding. I'm satisfied of playing the game until here. 8/10. Loved the cast & first half go the game, it was a 10/10.
My thoughts exactly. This is such a great remake of the original too, I enjoyed seeing the swords' portraits and them talking more during the story that wasn't in the PS1 version. But every time I want to replay this game I dread those second half dungeons, I like normal dungeons with puzzles but those endgame ones are wacky teleporting mazes and I like brutal dungeon crawler games but it doesn't suit a game like this 😅. I still have my hand-drawn maps from the PS1 original decades ago, can't believe they came in handy. I'm surprised they didn't simplify the endgame dungeons for this remake. But otherwise hands down this is my personal favorite Tales of games because the cast is amazing, I like the swords so much and even Leon is great 😁Also rest in peace Mutsumi Inomata, I never realized that Atamoni in these games is her name spelled backwards 😢
I wish more games had remakes like this. I really enjoyed the spritework in this remaster and the soundtrack is really catchy. The portraits for the swords and their dialog are really great additions too. I suppose the only change I'd like is if they made the endgame dungeons easier, they'll always be the worst part of the game for me😅I played the PS1 version as one of my earliest JRPGs too and it's so much fun.
That reminds me of how Star Ocean 2 had a second remake 😅 But I enjoyed Tales of Destiny so much, it's one of my top three Tales of games easily, I'd enjoy a full remake with 3D so much.
It's tough to tell, I liked some parts of the original ToD Leon too, I like how Leon was kinda mean and evil-ish in the original but in the end he decided to sacrifice himself for Stahn and the group.
I don't blame you, even the developers themselves were torn apart when they made the last third of this game originally, causing some of the developers to leave making Tales of games to instead make Star Ocean focusing more on sci-fi. I always enjoy replaying Tales of Destiny, both the original and DC, but man are those final dungeons. It's so bad that I have maps and handwritten notes from decades ago that I bring out just to get to the end. SMT had easier maps than this game haha.
Goodbye swordians you did you job well
We will meet again in destiny 2 English patch
When Judas aka Leon puts his swordian into the God's Eye ending it permanently.

This is the best game when i've finished on ps1 version. This remake look incredible.

Após terminar o jogo, já no New game plus, você tem acesso a todos os acessórios e armas?
One of the most pain in the ass boss ever! Couldn't e d the game even in level 70
What if Tales of Destiny gets a another remake on other modern consoles and PC?

@@BAIGAMING Or maybe give the sequel a remake.
I really like this translation, but why did they keep Miktran's silly localized name for the final fight?
What title do you need to find hints to find the discovery points?
Is this on ps2 emulator or on jailbroken ps3?
By never played tales of destiny Dc but played TOD and ToD2 they fixed the problem with Leon... 😅
It's tough to tell, I liked some parts of the original ToD Leon too, I like how Leon was kinda mean and evil-ish in the original but in the end he decided to sacrifice himself for Stahn and the group.
I mean in original tod you will face once more time Leon in the Dc version that is after ToD2 obviously wouldn't make sense
last dungen beat me
came here because I refuse to do that last dungeon

@@BAIGAMING I didn't use any solution for the final dungeon
