My first thought at the outdoor tv, what a waste of space when space is such a premium. Much rather have a bigger bathroom or like you said, move it back and get a larger living space.
Yup. That deck is a WINNER! I see that on some toy haulers. Gives you real outdoor space, and away from the critters. Also wouldn’t you rather already be above anyone entering your space, even sitting down? I like that you walk straight out. No twisting, turning, and more importantly no stairs to get out there for a morning coffee or later beer or cocktail. That would be a “ be the life” feature.
2:08 “Hangs a little low…” 2:12 “you gotta watch your head but, you know, how many times you gonna be coming out here?” Lmao. Never because it’s such a bad design. I would rather have a separated shower instead of a stupid fridge and tv outside. Thank goodness I can have that cheap user non-friendly stove. But hey I have a floating patio so I can look down upon all the poor people with their normal truck bed campers… lol.
If I went and purchased a new truck to haul it and then purchased the camper. I’d just be using the camper for a resting place during my lunch break. Lol
I will just add that since I am outside my house right now, cooking up some onions before I do my smash burgers and other burger on my two burner gas griddle ( sometimes you don’t want to roll out the Weber Kamado) that outdoor “ deck” would be a great place for a portable gas grill or griddle to cook up some breakfast or din-din. You could even attach some mesh with close pins to the awning. Hell, you could even fish off that thing, too.
That is one nice camper, the one feature you don’t touch on was the entrance steps, I removed the accordion style from my truck camper and put on a these “Step Above” steps best modification ever, they are so sturdy and solid.
Those steps are the first things I’d rip off lol totally stupid that you have to have the camper jacked up so high where it’s most unstable to lower them where you can actually close the door. I guess it’d be fine if you leave it on your truck 24/7, but that defeats one of the main purposes of the truck camper.
@ yes, mine are mounted so they fold up inside, vertically impossible to rip off. They also can be removed by pulling two pins, the only drawback I’ve encountered so far is, if you don’t sweep them off before folding up the dirt ends up inside on the floor, but no big deal just messy, I also put a bungee cord on them so when travelling on rough roads they don’t wiggle around, but, going from the according style to these is like night and day. The legs are extendable and work great on uneven surfaces. You should go to their site and see how they work.
Well Brad. Love Lance Campers. Love your videos. But. We own one of these campers. Had it for a year. You are right. Built cheap as hell. But the deck makes up for it. We have 2 Great pyronese dogs. The digs stay on back deck at night. And we hang out by day. There is "Fishin N Fun". And Fushing And Fun off the back deck hanging over the Lake, embankment, a creek, at the park, or any wheres. Just prepare who ever buys it. You are almost a celebrity. Because everybody wants a pic and everybody has questions. We had a dude on a Harley ask us if it was a toy hauler? While driving down the freeway. True story.
@@JuarezDerrick you’re right, its not good, it’s GREAT! Who gives af about a larger camper, what are you a hermit? You need to hideout inside while camping?

I like the back deck but the first thing I would have you do is rip out that outside TV and fridge and replace it with a larger fridge, I do not need a tv camping. Second thing is replace those awnings, they are way to low!
Agree. Many people have an Ipad or laptop now, and if they wanted to watch shows, would likely watch on those rather than have the weight and fuss of the large TV screen. But people like different things….
Awsome camper. I don't see any Chem trails. I have a Palomino hs 2910, and I couldn't figure out why the awnings hung so low. It was because I wasn't clamping the clamps correctly to hold it up.
Hey Brad, you know that TV on the outside deck is on a swivel right? You should be able to see the arm on the lower portion of the swivel and a latch to unlock it.
Very nice, Brad, though you forgot to show the main fridge inside here. Oh well, overall you did a good job showing us this really cool truck camper. 💁🏻♀️

Years ago, I bought a used, old school camper and it was OK, but the bathroom was small and I thought, "Well, I'll only be in there for a only a short time, so, it's ok, the floor plan uses more space for other things." What DIDN"T figure was if they just aimed the toilet at the door I could use it without closing the door so my knees would have plenty of room." I hated that. Would never buy another slide on unless it was done that way.
Love everything about this except the shower, it’s a little too small. I wonder if they make one like this but without the outside TV and fridge? (To expand the bath space)
@@itsbrad - Yes, I heard your comment at the end, LOL! I’ve used an Airstream Basecamp’s wet bath, and while it worked it was a 🤬 pain. I want enough room to turn around.
That storage space off the back porch is ludicrous. First, it eats up space for the bathroom and is nothing more than a gimmick. Second, the door to the TV area must remain open and there is nothing to hold it open so you’re essentially watching a TV in a closet. I’d get rid of the outdoor tv cabinet and move the bathroom back. Then the couch wouldn’t be looking into the bathroom. Otherwise, the deck is cool.
