The narrator does a good job describing these crimes. And because so many crazy crimes have actually happened, and the narrator generally being good at obscuring which movies he's talking about, I'm often like "I could believe that this actually happened." I was only able to guess 2 of the movies.
Weird how they avoided mentioning that first guy was arrested, and then was bailed out. While he was on bail, he murdered a woman and her two young children and is currently serving 3 life sentences.
You know the only reason I know about the DB Cooper case is because the TV show leverage did an episode on it. Which if you haven't checked out leverage it's an amazing show, and I believe this is one of their best episodes they ever did.
First, DB Cooper's case was both Real & Reel if you watch Loki. Second, because I recently watched The Holy Grail (terrible ending btw), I was lucky though it's been years since I watched Hot Fuzz. Finally, imagine if they added The Conjuring or Annabelle in there.
guys the irl story about the heist with the guy named Notebartelo is literally entire heist that Oceans 8 is based on that was a trick to make people think of Oceans 8 but they didn’t even think of that lol
It doesn't go that way. even if a movie completely inspired by a real life scene, it still count as real. cause you gotta go with the original since it came first
When i saw 2003 i thought it was Charles Cullen the Male nurse who killed 40+ patients in nine hospitals and one nursing home but none of them were his and it was always leathal injection right into the IV bag and in one case right into a patient’s leg. He started in late 80’s and wasen’t arrested until 2003 when his own best friend another nurse turned him in his story is crazy the reason why he got away for years and years was they diden’t do a backround check on him and they diden’t talk to each other and there were death at all of them but they covered it up because lawsuits. At one point at his trial he flew up and yelled at the judge ”your honor you need to step down” for 30 minutes they restrained and gaged Cullen put a rag in his mouth and a net on his head it worked it shut him he got eleven life sentences he’s able for parole in 2403 and he’s 62 today
The moment I heard "John Doe" on the second one, I stopped listening and chose REEL. John Doe is a literary "Joe Schmoe" template of a character. Despite not making sense to me, my brain said "Lion King" when I heard stampede part. Final score: 8 correct
This was a really cool true crime episode. I played along, thinking I wouldn’t be good, but I got 10 out of 11! The tenth one was funny. That was a cool one to put in there. Johnnett is also a great addition to the React cast. Keep it up guys! You are all so lucky to be on this platform 🙂
MORE MORE MORE!!! MORE I SAY!! pwease! Neeed Catherine anddd Johnnett tho! Bring in Benny and Jair or SHARONNN!! please!!! LOVE THIS! GREAT ALGORITHM CENSUS VOTE for me, CUZ WE WIT IT!!!
REACT, you guys should definitely have the Adults react to another Try to Keep Dancing Challenge. Suggestions: 1. Katrina and the Waves - Walking on Sunshine 2. Harry Styles - As It Was 3. Sonic 3D (Saturn) Music: Gene Gadget Zone Act 2 4. Blackpink - Pretty Savage 5. Rick James - Give It to Me Baby 6. Chuckie & Diamond Pistols feat. Hyper Crush - Bang! (Original Mix) Please have them dance to these songs in the next challenge. OK?
Of course DB Cooper did not survive the first parachute had cookware in it the second parachute had a tire in it & the 3rd and 4th parachute did not open🐰
The first case sounds very much like the 1970s TV movie "Bad Ronald" (based on the novel by Jack Vance). I wonder if that's where LaPlante got his "inspiration."
They don't work with the elders nearly enough anymore because I had almost forgotten how awesome Catherine is.
Oh, Dudeonwheels, you just made this dreary L.A. day bright. Thank you! So happy to be back on React! ✌🏼 See you soon!👋🏼
@@catherineeldersreact4341 hi😊
I love when you put the older bunch with the younger bunch! It makes me happy to see the similarities in the generations and their working together!
THIS needs to be a gameshow. You've got so many movies and crimes to pull from, so there's plenty of material. Call it Real or Reel
Joe Bereta is so good at coming up with games like this.
Perfect name. PERFECT
I love Johnett's personality and vibe
Johnettes laugh is contagious 😂❤ I love it
This new concept is amazing!!! Looking forward to the next one.
Will definitely be hoping for a part 2 eventually please, The Lion King and who frames Roger rabbit ones were TOO obvious.
For those who've watched them
The narrator does a good job describing these crimes. And because so many crazy crimes have actually happened, and the narrator generally being good at obscuring which movies he's talking about, I'm often like "I could believe that this actually happened." I was only able to guess 2 of the movies.
I watch a lot of movies, so I recognized the REEL ones. Izzy though, her comments are the best especially when she panics hahahaha love her
More of this please!! I love true crime!!
I know about the D.B Cooper case from Buzzfeed Unsolved 😊
That Lion King one was good haha. Also, that woman's laugh is epic 🤣🤣
I don't know why the "That's right, Catherine!" has me laughing so hard.
This was fun! Do another one!
Catherine: "Never saw the Lion King" Travis: It's basically Hamlet" Well, it is. And it isn't
Weird how they avoided mentioning that first guy was arrested, and then was bailed out. While he was on bail, he murdered a woman and her two young children and is currently serving 3 life sentences.
I KNEW IT WAS DB COOPER RIGHT AFTER THEY SAID HE JUMPED OUT THE PLANE MID FLIGHT
Brian with any Izzy combo - nice!
Liking Jack
To be honest, I almost didn't watch this one, but I'm glad I did. This was one of the most fun videos you've put out in a while!
This was a fun watch! I hope to see more! 🎉❤
Glad to see someone who knows The Lion King is partly based on Hamlet. ;)
This was fun!!
I used my knowledge of films to figure it out and my love of real crime investigations.
Aint getting a damn thing past Catherine!
Hell yeah!
This one was hilarious, definitely do more of these
You know the only reason I know about the DB Cooper case is because the TV show leverage did an episode on it. Which if you haven't checked out leverage it's an amazing show, and I believe this is one of their best episodes they ever did.
Hello Savannah Mae: I just mentioned it in a reply. One of the best Leverage episodes, and that's saying a lot because u r right, Leverage is amazing!
I'm honestly mad at myself for not getting the Dumb and Dumber reference wrong. I seen that movie multitude of times and even got the movie myself.
I have a fascination with cooper
Love these reactors together 😂
*I really hope that kids and teens will react to Junior Eurovision soon.*
1994 was the most hilarious one!🤣🤣🤣
Yooo this is a good segment, more of this but slow down on the reading lol
I love Catherine and Brian
_"But he couldn't get AHEAD of the moment!"_ I see what you did there.😅💀 📦

I was wrong -- knew it was Monty Python but said Life of Brian instead of Holy Grail. Getting old is a bitch sometimes.
My only negative opinion of react or people vs food is i need more content pumped out faster im addicted😳
love catherine and the rest of the elders react cast!! missing them!! hope their doing fine!! 🤗🤍✨
I want to see the full length Jonette laughing at the be heading of the historian.
Ikr 😂
i love CRIME REELS! they are one of my favorite true crime channels
Oh we love Johnette!
"when he couldn't get ahead of the moment" I see what you did there! 🤣🤣
“REAL” or “REEEEEEELLL” ?
Joe, this is so great! So entertaining and fun :)
omg case 2 i instantly knew it was seven, "whats in the box"
SAME
"THAT'S RIGHT, CATHERINE!" 🤣
guys the irl story about the heist with the guy named Notebartelo is literally entire heist that Oceans 8 is based on that was a trick to make people think of Oceans 8 but they didn’t even think of that lol
I'd love to see Catherine's reaction to The Lion King.
Same
That transition from D. B. Cooper into the lion king is good
You've got this Izzy!
D.B.Cooper could’ve been both real and reel, as they depicted the incident on “Loki” on Disney+. Turns out that in the MCU, Cooper was Loki.
Also leverage
Also Without a paddle.
It doesn't go that way. even if a movie completely inspired by a real life scene, it still count as real. cause you gotta go with the original since it came first
@@faristont4561 no, they’ve done trick questions where the answer was “both” before.
Prison break! Muse Watson!
Johnette was hilarious 😂
I knew it was the Who Framed Roger Rabbit when they mentioned the piano. I instantly thought of that lol
when listening to the story and i shout "Thats who framed rodger rabbit!!!" Then the clip rolls and I'm definitely right 😎
The moment he said killed by a piano I was like “I know where this is from.”.
Izzy's (itsizziman) reaction to Hot Fuzz matches mine every time I see clips of it pop up :D
Catherine is my spirit animal. What I wouldn’t give to have brunch with her and listen to her knowledge! 🫶🏽
Aw, thank you, Silver lining Seeker! What a nice comment.✌🍳🍹😻
@@catherineeldersreact4341 Hey Catherine, are you a big fan of the Golden Age Hollywood era?
Catherine!

As soon as I heard neighbourhood watch I knew it was Hot Fuzz 😂

Johnette is me though when I watch fictional murder lol I will laugh for no reason
great to see catherine
Okay I'm going to work on public transportation and I literally laughed out loud by the Lion King reference
More of these kind of videos, pleeeease!
It was Gwenyth Paltrow’s head. No great loss! 😂😂 1:58
I have to agree, that scene from Roger Rabbit....... Nightmare fuel!! Xxxx
More of this, please!
Johnnett is really fun. Working that flower too!
I cant keep up with the narration and the visuals of the crimes 😩
More of this!!!!!
Se7en was too easy.
Hot Fuzz was and is still hilarious. 😄
What was that Lion King description though? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joe Bereta is a treasure granted to this world.
I Hop DB Cooper Made It
The guy who was arrested after being caught with a panic attack and a sandwich, is what would happen to me
I wouldn’t want to be there, but I would be forced to, and then have a panic attack
Must have been quite the sandwich to give someone a panic attack.
The moment I heard "John Doe" on the second one, I stopped listening and chose REEL. John Doe is a literary "Joe Schmoe" template of a character.
Despite not making sense to me, my brain said "Lion King" when I heard stampede part. Final score: 8 correct
when Izzy Iman admits she stalked her crush 💀
This was the best!!! Got to have Sharon on next 1!

lol Loki as DB Copper thanks Loki tv series xD
lmao Izzy (itsizziman) would comment on Brad Pitt, i'm here for it! Love seeing her in your videos
i remember hearing about case 9 so i knew it was real
I was bawling for the Dumb and Dumber scene
I KNEW case 5 was Monty Python, I LOVE that movie

👀👀👀👀
Aight, Johnnette is here for life, someone get Sharon with the welcome wagon!
oh god. i knew it was lion king to moment i heard it
yep

Theodore Roosevelt was always a badass.
By far one of the best presidents ever.
A-HEAD of the moment just got me laughing so hard!
Crime is interesting
I thought D.B. Cooper was Loki, who was young and lost a bet to Thor and got away via the Bifrost.
I've never seen the reels but the reals, Omg, I watched all of them. 🙈🙈🙈
Johnett needs to be in more episodes
Omg I love you guys ❤️🤩❤️

Real or reel but do shows like supernatural and thv with things like Vlad the impaler
Lol Izzy still taking a moment to appreciate Brad Pitt ❤❤❤❤ lol
Man Lived In Walls And It’s True
If Johnette has a channel reacting to movies, I am one million percent there.
I knew the last one because I learned it in my POSC 100 class this past Monday
Only missed 2 not too bad for a true crime fan who doesn’t watch movies lol
I missed 3 haha
