Seeing this after the release of Deadpool and Wolverine, I miss watching these videos as a young teen getting into figure collecting. RIP Glenn. You are missed, my friend.
Everytime I feel like crap or I’m a little depressed I put on a Glenn Webb video and it makes me feel better! He was the best to ever do it sorry to any of the other reviewers but you can’t hold a candle to Glenn!
Oh, Glenn, it's amazing how much effort and passion you put into your channel. I've never even cared about the action figures before I stumbled across you videos, but your enthusiasm is really contagious.
It was very nice reminiscing about the past after viewing those 90's figures. I remember buying danger room Gambit way back in the day. Very well done Wolverine evolution Glenn. I'm looking forward to part 2.
+Glenn Webb I truly appreciate the fact you still collect figures till this day and have the passion from your child till now is truly an inspiration. I wish I could meet you one day and tell you thanks for doing what you do and for being awesome thanks man.
Nice 4 part series on Wolverine. I played with the three subsequent to the very first. Its amazing how one remembers things from his childhood differently! So basicly, there's not one figure worth getting because they never got it straight. There was maybe one wolverine came close to a proper head sculpt (HINT: It was intended to look like Hugh Jackman) i agree with you on that and another thing. I LOVE HOW YOU POINTED OUT THAT WOLVERINE SHOULD BE SHORT WITHIN HIS SCALE. "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of fight in the dog!"
Oh my giddy aunt,...this is going to be a big one. I thought venom was your biggest, but holy moly on guacamole, we are dealing with the best at what he does! I cant imagine the other top players and how many figures they have, like Captain America, Spider man, etc.
Ninja Wolverine has bone claws too. Man this brought back so many memories. I had all the ones you showed so far except secret wars. Can't wait for part 2.
I really want a TRUE Jim Lee Wolverine. THe best was the Series III, but it had no ab crunch and was more in scale with Selects. Series 6, "Jim Lee," was a good but the sculpt was off. The shoulder pads being so off, may be the disappointment that held it from being considered the best ever. I am still waiting for that definitive Jim Lee, but I think Hasbro will never do it, because they won't sculpt the shoulder pads...and I am not being sarcastic...as you have said they Google the cheapest versions of the said characters they have to release, and that is how they choose. Cannot wait for part 2...maybe I should've saved my opinion till then...lol
Excellent video. I had so many of the ToyBiz figures throughout childhood. I remember being devastated when my Tiger Stripe Wolverine broke, since he was the essential Wolverine thanks to the TV show. Funny thinking how many minor variants there were, with the Weapon X figure having several different colored cables, and the Spy Wolverine coming in green, blue, black, and probably several other colors. Great throwbacks in here. Looking forward to part 2!
Honestly, I prefer the 1984 secret wars wolverine over the first uncanny wolverine figure, for one, the claws are less obvious on the 1984 figure, and the mask looks much better on the 1984 figure, but hey it's just my opinion.
I had the street clothes wolverine with his brown jacket and the weapon X one. This makes me wish I didn't throw away all my toys when I turned 13... Ahh nostalgia
Hey Glenn, nice video! You should make more of those customizing live videos because those are the ones that I really enjoy, and also could you make the big hero 6 marvel legends from the movies or comics, because it would be cool to see those in marvel legends.
Well, these sure got...wierd. But hey, ya know what they say, it's pretty easy to scrape the bottom of the barrel when you've got giant adamantium claws.
Who’s here in 2019 just refreshing yourself with Glenn’s greatness
