Everyone's family is different and have different family values be yourself Be respectful until you get to know someone and can figure out if they're treating you with respect As far as Im concerned your partner is number 1, as long as you're doing right by them and being respectful, if their family has an issue with you, thats their problem Get to know the people in the city or community you live in when you talk to them so you can understand whats ok to talk about people here have different acceptance levels of what you can talk about and age also affects that, older people are usually more old school when it comes to how things used to be, but there are rogue older people who dont behave what you might expect Alot of more urban places can be hectic so many different things you can encounter
I've been here in California for 3mnths now as a K1 visa,Married last January 28th,en yeah sis ur absolutely right!About homesick not really bcoz before I came here I worked in HK for almost 10yrs so it's not a big deal but the only makes me boring staying at home bcoz I'm not type of person just waiting although I still do the household en cooking(now I'm a good cook now😁👌)
I agree with you sis. When I first came here in 2016 in a work visa and was teaching in school, I was having a hard time conversing with the native speakers because they have this deep Southern accent. I usee to have a thick accent and tried my best to communicate with the native speakers closer to how they pronounce the words so they could understand me. People here is not so diverse yet. Advice ko lang is watch you tube videos on how to pronounce the words the way they pronounce. The goal is not to change our accent. Goal is maintindihan nila tayo kung makikipag usap tayo sa kanila
Wait how could you not know what your partner likes or does not like when you show up to USA? Wouldn't you already know that by chatting online and when he visits you in the Philippines? That is really weird...
thank you sis s help my fiance also watching your vlogs sya muna unang naka discover s mga vlogs mo bago ako..heheheh thanks sis your so kind GOD BLESS always
Jolly, Worry much less about saying the wrong thing in conversations. Your English pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar are all fine. You talk a monologue to the camera for fifteen minutes at a time which seems far more challenging than a normal back and forth conversation with another person. You won't say the wrong thing either. Most Americans are very laid back about this, if you did somehow choose the wrong word it would much more likely elicit gentle or friendly laughter rather than anyone ever taking offense from it. Love your videos, keep up the good work!
Hello Jolly Good Day! I have a question about the filing of I129F K1 Visa. My Wife-to be fiance filed this thing and the form I129F was already approved as I checked it through case status tool online. My problem is this, currently, I am in Saudi Arabia and about to go home in the philippines that I can no longer wait for possible interview in US Consulate. Can I change the venue of interview in the Philippines and how to make it? Looking forward to hearing from Maam and thid could be a great help for me.Thanks a lot.
the steps for my fiance to come from ivory coast to america . what form do we start with and will he need to return back once after we are married in 90 days. Please help us .
Hi Jolly, I hope your doing great. I'm not sure if you happen to mentioned tmy concern to your previous vlogs and videos. This is regarding K1 what if my PSA birth certificate shows late registered, my birth year is 1990 but was registered by my parents last 2007. By the way I do not have a baptismal certificate. This is in preparation of my interview once the USEM will resumed visa appointment schedule. I hope you can read my concern. Thank you.
Ok lang po yan, dalhin niyo po second page ng birth certificate niyo. Pag late registered 2 pages po ang certificate. Bring both. Late registered din po ako at wala namang problema during my time. Also, hindi po kasama ang baptismal sa requirements so you should be fine.
