Brands making themselves more popular via social media also helps increase brand awareness (which is literally how aware people are of a brand). They can better remember that brand, which, in turn, attracts customers and helps boost sales. In this case, people who have seen Duolingo's tiktoks remember the company better, so if they want to use a language learning app later on, they are more likely to think of and therefore choose Duolingo.
The older i get, the easier it is to see that almost every fun trend in my life was something that was pushed on me by a corporation. That's not ALL bad, as i've loved some great movies, music, and other stuff. But this trend of marketing was just another corporate push. The fun Gen Zs are in charge of marketing for now, but they're on a short leash, and as soon as it stops adding to the bottom line, they'll be ousted for the next thing.
Dude WHAT?! This video was so insanely well-researched and edited for someone with such a ridiculously small following. INSTANT subscription on my part.
I actually really like the unhinged marketing. Sometimes it hits sometimes it misses and some brands really have no business trying it. I’m curious to see how “authenticity” evolves in the branding and marketing space.
@@The-Internet-is-Eating-Itself of course! I hope this channel and video gets the recognition it deserves, very professional I was genuinely surprised by the view count, keep it up :]
I hate these meme marketings. They are basically advertisements to sell their product. These companies only care about money. I hate late-stage capitalism so much.
Comment for the algorithm. This video is so high quality and well researched, it's wild how small your channel is.
Thank you so much! That's really nice of you to say.
These corporations are basically *"How do you do fellow kids?"*
Haha, I had to include that clip in it.

Wild that this trend is now known by Duolingo Tiktok and not Wendy's Twitter.

*Great video. I'm glad someone is criticizing these cringe brand advertisements.*

i feel like progressive advertisements/commercials did this first 😅 but i feel like they’re a lil more tasteful about it
