@@camps1960The Metro Board pushed an $800M security plan that took control from the Sherrifs dept, and dispersed it between the LAPD and LBPD. Then in 2021 they replaced armed Law Enforcement officers with "Security Ambassadors". Since then security suffered. Ipso facto, they take out Sheriff's, its their fault.

This isn't on the cops though or defending the police. Metro refuses to hire security guards who actually do their jobs. My brother was overwhelmed when he worked as a third party security guard for Metro. Most of this associates refused to check certain locations in the subway. There were even certain levels that had concentrated fetanyl, and the metro is suppose to hire someone to clean it up, but Metro didn't want to use their money. One of their supervisor is a dick thought, he's aware of the situation but he cares more about his feelings

The LAPD can’t deal with the MTA. Give it back to the Sheriff’s Department! It’s really that simple.
Bring back MTA specific police, post them at every other train station 24/7. Hire more for a patrol route for bus stops, have them ride the bus as well.
