    How do they feel with headphones on, both I've the head and ear buds?

    I have developed a severe spinal deformity due to ankylosing spondylitis and a few other complications, which together have caused me to be unable to sleep in any position except sitting up in bed. So I have a bed wedge to lean against; however, this creates an additional painful problem with my neck as my pillow inevitably flattens or moves slightly from where I had put it before falling asleep … Therefore I’m looking for a travel pillow that will keep my neck supported throughout the night instead of allowing my head and neck to tip way backwards. My question about this travel pillow (any/all of the three you reviewed here) is can I put the plastic stabilizing part behind my neck, vs. on one side or the other of my neck? Every ad I see for the trtl pillows shows the stabilizer only on one side or the other of the model’s neck … Thanks in advance for any answers or suggestions you may have to offer, and be well!🥰🥰🥰

      The stabilizing plastic part is not meant for the back of your neck since the curvature does not fit at all. Only front side of neck or middle.

      @@BeatTheBushDIY Thanks - I really appreciate your response! However, I’m quite confused … First, I have no idea what you’re referring to when you say it’s made to fit “the middle“??? Second m if it fits the front and the sides of the head, why wouldn’t it also work for the back??? (Please keep in mind that I’ve only seen the trtl pillows in online videos, and therefore, I don’t have any actual experience with this pillow myself.). Again, I very much appreciate any advice you can provide, and that also includes recommendations against this (or any other) pillow as long as you are sharing your thoughts with some idea of and regard for what I previously shared about my difficulties finding a comfortable pillow (of any kind, unfortunately) due to my severely disabling physical back problems (as opposed to thinking my body is physically “normal,” I mean 😉😉😉). Thanks again!

      Middle meaning under your chin so you tilt your head forward.
      Not sure how you are sleeping. If 90 degree is sitting upright, and 0 degree is flat, how high is your wedge?
      These pillows keeps your head from dropping too far and assumes you are only slightly reclined. Even sitting like in an airplane seat angle, you would position the internal plastic brace to the left, right, or directly in front.

      @@BeatTheBushDIY I’ll do my best to answer your question, and to clearly describe what happens once I fall asleep, and why that is so uncomfortable.
      When I’m leaning against the wedge while sitting in (or more accurately, ON) my bed, my back is probably reclining (leaning backwards, I mean) at about a 30° angle.
      However, because of the unnaturally fused areas in my spine, I no longer have the natural “S-curve” of a normal spine. In fact, a recent full body x-ray I had done for a spine surgeon I consulted with showed my spine has literally reversed its S-curve to the point that it is COMPLETELY reversed from top to bottom! (In other words, if it were originally a d-shaped curve, then now it has become a p-shaped curve … I apologize for this analogy and hope I’m not entirely confusing this explanation, but I don’t know of a way to type a reverse S in order to illustrate this on the basis of the normal S-curve being reversed. 😉😉😉)
      The spine surgeon explained that my entire spine has had to compensate for the area which initially fused itself in this incorrect/unnatural position, and this is why I am in such a terrible state now.
      Anyway, the point of all that is to explain that this has caused my neck to jut forward, such that my head and chin are actually above my toes instead of being situated above my shoulders. … And unfortunately, when I’m leaning against the wedge, my neck still juts way forward - meaning my head is now situated over my thighs when it should remain above my shoulders. Therefore, when my pillow (which is a regular pillow,and not a travel pillow of any sort) flattens out and/or slides out of place while I sleep, my head often ends up tilting WAY back because it has no support, until my nose is almost pointing toward the ceiling and the top of my head is resting on the wedge (or the now flattened pillow).
      So I’m seeking a travel pillow that is particularly good at supporting THE BACK of my neck in order to prevent my head from tilting back like this.

    For someone who really prefers leaning to sleep when upright, would you go trtl original or trtl plus?

    • @BeatTheBushDIY
      @BeatTheBushDIY  3 месяца назад

      If you do that often, Plus has way more adjustability. All of them are for sleeping in the seated position be it reclined or completely upright.

    I don’t think your wrapping them tight enough that’s why your getting the slipping. I’ve watched other demonstrations and reviews and they’re wrapping them pretty tight when using.

      No, the review is right, the cool version slips more because of the slick fabric. I bought a bundle that got the original and cool, and the original definitely slips less
