Did you use it for longer? Does it work without disconnecting on Windows 10? Many adapters have problems with Windows 10, and I have had disconnecting problems with multiple adapters (not WiFi, but USB problem) I currently have Asus nano n10 which is working but doesn't support 5ghz.
Same problem here. encountering disconnection on the USB. my problem here is usually the startup. then I get random restarts kinda rare. My hunch is that its when your wifi router is set to auto channel and when it switches to another channel the dongle seems to restart.
God damn it, a lot of many laptops havent USB ports, USB-C only. And it's almost impossible to buy modern laptop with CD-ROM... When will we have USB-C WiFi adapters?
Hello, i want to turn a pc conected by cable into a hostpot, so i can share internet with my phone or my laptop, does this antena work for that poupose?
i am getting only around 50% (430 mbps) when moving files between local computers. One is using wifi over T3U and other is on gigabit LAN. Latest wifi driver, win 7 64bit (both computers), router is Archer AC1750 (1300Mbps). What am i doing wrong?
Video helped me about connection speed. i was use 280mbps after that i check that driver from your link now i am using 500mbps thanks dude. guys if u use that adapter update driver from that link.
Hey, im using a laptop lenovo v15 g2 with i51135g7 and my wifi speeds were around 220mb, now i bought this adapter and im getting 40mb speeds..... I installed drivers for win11 and everything good but still i see worse performance, i desabled old one but i mean i dont got anything to say please tell me ur opinion in comments
Yes, you can use the TP-Link Archer T3U Plus USB Wi-Fi adapter without needing a Wi-Fi card on your motherboard. The adapter operates independently and connects through a USB port, providing Wi-Fi connectivity directly to your PC. It doesn't rely on any internal Wi-Fi components on the motherboard, making it an ideal solution for older systems without built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. Just plug it into a USB port, install the drivers, and you should be good to go!
@@MilkyTech you can bro im using the 600mb older version and my hotspot works just like a wifi network so i just connect to it with the adapter easy as that. After watching the review im considering to upgrade to this one :) but idk i have heard that the adapter disconects or overheats what can you say about that?
2:30 _"...it can go 360 degrees..."_ Sure, if you wanna *break* it! Dude, it says 180 degrees right on the goddamn box -- there's even a picture for the really slow thinkers! ...and you still missed it! 🙄
Owned it for 3 months. Regular disconnections. And today it simply stopped working properly. Max down speed of 25Mbps, upload 3mbps. No reason. Re-installed drivers. Nothing. Phone wifi works just fine. +the adapter runs hot. I suspect it degrades over time. As of right now, I don't recommend this product.
i cant have more than 280mbits for 5ghz with my archer T3U Plus but with my phone i get 450mbits.. my provider is 400mbits.. weird problem. I have update the driver nothing works. Man im bad must be on usb gen 3.2 gen 2 ports... it was in the usb 2.0 no sh!t i had 280 mbit max..
Thank you man!! I recently bought the product but didn't notice that I had to switch to "wifi 2". Awesome help and made my day!!
Glad I could help!
Is it good for long distance and can it pierce the wall easly?
working good just one question has someone noticed that adapter gets warm? especially on the bottom side? is that normal?
Yeah that's where the circuit is and power runs through.

I use it on a daily bases and no issues so far.

If I activate share internet connection on my iPhone, will this product let me get internet connection on my PC?
Absolutely
Yes.
Good Video already bought it and I am glad happy to get it soon!
I hope it serves you well!
God damn it, a lot of many laptops havent USB ports, USB-C only. And it's almost impossible to buy modern laptop with CD-ROM... When will we have USB-C WiFi adapters?
I know what you mean. It's all going to dongals. All I can think of is a USB A to C adapter for these types of accessories. That I am not sure of.
That CD toss! LOL!
Always.
Hi, I am getting this exact same thing can you make a video on how to install the drivers and what to do step by step
I'm willing to buy it, but is it good for gaming?
I don't see why not. It's pretty fast.
I have cable modem router on my second floor but the computer on 1st floor the signal is good.. do u recommend me this one for gaming ?
It should be just fine.
