Farming Simulator is a real sleeper. It doesn’t seem like it should be that fun, but then when you decide to try it out for a little bit, you find yourself getting really sucked into it. It’s such a relaxing game.
For me it was the exact oposite. Still a greate game tho

As a fellow chad casual enjoyer with over 500 hours combined between fs19 and 22, GET IT.. GET IT NOW XD.. If you play PC, you can get a shit ton of mods as well. FS MINER'S packs (contains excavators, dump trucks, dozers, and other construction/mining machinery) and Terrafarm are must haves imo. Terrafarm lets you dig out the terrain with your excavators 😍 If you enjoy a more vanilla style with not that many mods, theres hundreds upon hundreds of maps to try out! The optimization is also very good, i have more than 1,400 mods installed and loaded and it loads my in 2 minutes max. Did I mention its cross-platform AND you can play on the go eith xbox cloud gaming?
It is 100% worth it if you wanna kick back, relax, and turn your brain off for a while.@@PapiBenz

You should totally get American truck with the Mexico mod too then, can drive anywhere in America (with mods and dlc) then go through most of mexico

If you mean the steering wheel set, don't. Save your money, It's cheap plastic junk with the joystick stopping working almost immediately. Get a better set of steering wheel, even second hand is fine (I got a logitech driving force pro second hand), and get the control panel separate if you want, but don't expect the joystick to work very well.
The steering wheels getting a little out of date and could use a clutch now, but the side panel is still awesome. The nice thing is that the two pieces use different usb cables so you can use the side panel with any wheel
I remember getting in a real truck every morning for years with my mother and we'd ride alongside the harvester and get loaded up when onions were in season, and hauling grain from the silos and manure from the feed lots the rest of the year. Good times
I used to help my dad with the grain trucks. little f400s and 500s IIRC and they were something else. they had no power steering, the brakes barely worked, and they werent registered for the roads but the cops never bothered us

Ive actually used this wheel, the button pad is pretty useful but the wheel just feels like a kids toy compared to my thrustmaster T-248 and Logitech G923, I highly recommend using the side panel with another wheel. First off, It arrived broken, thought nothing of it, it wasnt really too much damage, just a crack on the side (The entire thing is made of the same cheap plastic), it quickly grew to a hole. The entire wheel creaks whenever any pressure is put onto it. Dont recommend using this :(
The brake peddle commonly breaks making the pedals plus wheel unusable as they work together

I grew up in the countryside and because of that i tried farming simulator.
Now im playing FS since 5 years and creating my own mods.

Love the setup! As a farmer it's weird seeing the joystick on the left hand ... ours on our machines have them on the right hand. Love the content.

@@sakurashogunYes it's called Gran Turismo but this is Farming Sim and unlike Sim Racing which is a sport, farming is a job so I see it more of a game than an actual hobby

It was made for FS-15 but can be used for other games like ETS2

Greystillplays got me addicted to this game... Every so often having a 300mph tractor is just good times.
This was my exact experience with FS minus the sick set up 😂 I thought I was going to play for maybe a couple of hours, and here we are 2 years and hundreds of hours later 😂
Hundreds. I’m at 1400 for 22 and 19 I think was 1500 on my pc and 800 on my ps4
Farming simulator 2015, was when I was introduced to the series, and is the best version of farming sim in my opinion.
Crazy. I bet I could post a link to my job description and no one would come pick up some hours.
Listen you won’t know what farming is until you put up hay in the barn or cleaned out a grain bin in the middle of July. Picked corn in December when there’s already snow on the ground, stayed up till early morning to make sure the calf in born alive and well. Go home to make sure your kids get to sleep fine but know you’ll have to go back out and keep cutting beans because the rain coming that night.
All things done here in the Mid West, and we’re thankful we could do it for you too.
I got real farms too here in Tennessee. I also grew up on a dairy farm. I wud venture to say that most farm sim players ant got a real clue about farming. Callouses, blisters, barb wire cuts, thorns and brambles, all kinds of weather. Issues w vehicles and animals in the crappiest of weather.
I truly wish I cud push a button to repair the hydraulic pump in my tractor or have hay turn out perfect every year. But it's impossible.
On my real farm, I have 2 broke down tractors, 3 broke down trucks, broke mowing machine and kicker. I lost 80 percent of my hay this year and I have had to sell 2/3 of my cows cuz I know fall cutting will never yield as much as spring cutting.
I ant just discouraged w real farming, I am disgusted w it.
So farm sim is perfect for me. I shut off all the crap that annoys me in real life, traffic, rocks, weeds, snow, etc and enjoy perfect farming.

The important thing to remember is family and faith come first before the farm. Pray to God ask him to bless your family with a bountiful harvest. He’s listening, he loves you, he won’t let you fail if you pray to him.

Back when farming simulator 17 first came out on gamepass ultimate I downloaded it and it was very fun and addicting especially when you add mods to the game which were found in the main menu. Overall a very good experience
I remember when I first got in to farming simulator. Spent ages doing silage with my friends, we didn’t even achieve anything because most the time it was a new world every time we went to play. But it was fun, so we didn’t care. We’d have the best laughs and complain about each other doing something wrong, like hitting the forage harvester or something. It was great

Farm Sim has something for everyone
I use a console grade steering wheel and a mid tier flight joystick, does the job very well for FS . I already owned the stick but did buy the wheel for FS.
I got this exact bundle towards the beginning og this year. It's a total game changer! I've always loved farming sim and having an actual wheel to turn and pedals to push makes it so much better.
I just wish i had friends to play it with :(

As someone who plays farming simulator, i can confirm that it is extremely fun as hell to just watch and see your farm grow and improve

I work on an actual farm and I am surprised how realistic video games can get to how it feels in real life. Obviously you can’t simulate the way it feels to actually line your tractor up perfectly and put all of the pins in to secure it, but it seems like farming simulator most of the work it takes to make and maintain a proper farm
It was made for FS-2015 but still works very well

This game is addicting hell. FS22 was my first foray into the genre and I have close to 200 hours since September which is a lot for me since I work full time as well. I'm thinking about getting the side controller from this set-up.
I have that exact setup for myself for fs15,17,19,and 22 and I love it.
Really though farming is fun at the right times like feeding the cows, fencing, cutting, fluffing, raking, bailing hay, putting the hay up, cutting corn, making feed from the corn, feeding horses, i find all that enjoyable until it gets to pigs and chickens. But i do love some tenderloin and eggs so its worth it in the end
I call having hours turn into days then weeks the factorio effect. The urge to keep upgrading your factory (farm in this case)
this particular setup is great for truck sims as well, its no racing setup but its fun for feeling like your really driving heavy rigs with lots of controls

Nope if I'm making a setup for fs I'm going to set it up as a fent cab with a loader and ivt transmission and it's going to work like a actually tractor have a small panel for extra controls
Bought 2019 and I use my G27 and HOTAS. Yes it works. I don't see a reason to buy 22.

i have that same exact set and i spend hours and days in the shop and taking care of the farm every day if i'm not at work and I recently just got my 10 year old daughter into it as well

The button box is extremely useful for all sorts of other games. The steering and pedals suck. But a used G29 or something.
Just to say, in a real tractor or other vehicule that are in the game have the control panel is on your right, but it also works like you do 😊
I moved from Farming Simulator 13 to 22 and 22 is a much more complex and full game. Even opening a flour factory in the empty field after merging the field was very enjoyable and it also has an incredible mod support.
Farming simulator is actually one part of my job, I run a afternoon school club for 10-12 year olds where we play either Farming simulator, Roblox, Minecraft, rocket league or Fortnite. I run several of these on different days of the week, some for schools in their IT classrooms or online with discord.
As a Farming Simulator veteran, I approve! I literally have played FS since FS2009...
Could you sync the control panel with the G29, use the G29 shiftknob and use the control panel to activate all kinds of stuff, like windshields, turning signals, headlights and other stuff? For racing games.
This setup isn't actually known for its durability, farming is chill gameplay but a more aggressive game is a risk.

The tractor simulator with farming features became so popular they made it in real life and even made it a job
I have the side panel but use a thrustmaster 500 for the wheel. I end up using both the controller and wheel. Which in farm sim cab work simultaneously. I have even used the pedals and the controller for steering at the same time.

I farm in real life growing corn, wheat, hay, and pistachios. But man I love hoping on to farming sim and now days the graphics are starting to look real good. Wish I had a set up like that.

If you hire workers on tractors you can set them to do tasks like pick up and deliver food or seeds or wheat
It is fun

Any simulator with specific setups are addictive not just farming simulator but flight simulators and truck simulators.
The side panel is good but the steering wheel n pedals are horrible also there very low quality feel ive had the whole thing for 5 yrs as soon as i starting using it on fs17 i brought a logitech g920 wheel and chucked the satek just kep the side panel because the wheel is really bad and doesnt work with console either
Most addictive game of all for sure...I set down to play just half an hour just to see what it is and find my self 6 hours later ,now knowing what is cultivator , seeder ,planter and more others which I haven't a single clue what it is for or what it is...definitly worth your purchase

Yo the joysticks on the wheel is goated, i use a sim racing wheel from time to time on it but having to switch back to keyboard for walking around is kinda annoying
