I get crap in the chat too about my damage as Hanzo, but here's the thing that most people miss: A Hanzo who's hitting headshots isn't going to do a lot of damage, because his targets are just...dead. It doesn't matter if it took 100 damage, or 1k damage to elim someone, the important thing is they got sent back to spawn.
Keep up the amazing Hanzo gameplay, you inspire me daily to improve and climb. 💪
aye the only reason that soldier will have double damage is because he has to deal 600 dmg on a 200hp target before getting the kill :D

Bro I had a game just the other day where I was 30kills and 9deaths with 12k dmg and had my feeder teammates who were 15kills and 25deaths say I was getting out dpsd cuz they had 15k dmg...lmao it's unreal how damaged some people's brains are
DPS players that don't go for picks are filler NPCs

Would have made sense if they said get more kills, not do more dmg
To my plat eyes, damage wasn't issue. Rest of your team was being bit too passive and gave them more room to find flanks etc. In your other games, when your team is more aggressive, opponents don't have time to go Hanzo hunting.
Damage isn't the metric anyone should use to judge a Hanzo/widow, high damage low kills is actually a sign of not playing the characters right. High kills is what you should judge, but those numbers could be deceiving as well

@@MysticMicrowaveYeah anyone can just shoot the tank and get the most damage, it's not hard at all to farm damage. Shooting the tank just farms enemy support ults (granted a bit slower) but puts very little pressure on their supports bc they have so much time to react and heal the tank.
Low rank players will shoot the tank all day and instead just blame their teammates for not helping them kill the tank, or they just brag that they have the most damage so that means they're carrying. Low rank games can be fun but my god am I glad im not down there. All of my friends are silver-gold basically and I cant imagine having to put up with that garbage every game

@@MysticMicrowave In my games, as long as I see snipers in kill-feed, I'm happy. Or as long as I'm not dead by enemy dps as support because my dps are giving them too much space.

@@Azarthes I agree. Your role as hanzo is to put pressure on the enemy targets during the fight, Not expecting your team to Carry on a 4vs5 during the whole fight until you get picks.

I think your playstyle works really well on attack but it's definitely too passive on defense. Hanzo can put a lot of pressure on tank and I think going back and forth would really push you. Love your content and how open you are about what it takes to be a streamer. I hope youre taking care of your mental health tbh

very simple adjustments to playstyle and mindset, although going against your instincts mid fight is EXTREMELY difficult. personally i think this is only possible on hanzo and widow because being passive heroes gives you breathing room to concentrate on the best move

I actually decided today to start doing cosmetic ultimates only. throwing games by only going for kills on dragons just to look good. I am gonna be on my villain arc. gonna do like 2 picks into a dragon for 3 more kills and then get rolled the next team fight by blade and just blame my team 😎

You need to do a react video that your reacting to hanzo gameplays and give rating from 1/10 and telling them how to get better and their mistakes.
I was in a gold game and my friend was playing widow and someone called him out for "not dealing enough damage" meanwhile the other DPS was a bastion with like 5k damage and 1/3 of my friend's elims. My friend said "I have way more elims and kills" and the other guy said "at least the bastion is dealing damage"
Should've said "at least my damage is going somewhere useful"
