I have noted in life that the opposite individual in a pair bond can often see the oribters, the lurkers outside their relationship waiting for weakness or opportunity to get their desire.
Yet the desired one in the pair bond, is naive, or CHOOSES not to see, the lurker. Maybe it's drama, excitement, wanting to see how close the edge of the cliff is.
