In this video I put together all of the items in Elden Ring that will heal the player without using crimson flasks to test out what a max lifesteal build would look like. The results are amazing.
Watching you heal through Malenia was Cathartic. I was going "How does it feel, Malenia?"

People probably already mentioned it, but just in case: it's not poison that procs Great Star's heal, it's the Poisonous Mist ash of war. Every tick of poison buildup from the mist counts as a hit, even though it deals no damage. It's like Prayerful Strike where the reason to use it is to heal faster rather than to deal damage.
Oh okay yeah that makes more sense.
You could say that Malenia's Great Rune fits. Basically the rally system from Bloodborne. Makes your crimson flasks quite a bit worse, but honestly with the amount of restoration you're getting do you really need anything but blue? Edit: I see you got that at the very end!

and the healing isnt even that good If you dont Take 5 hits in a row
if it was like a 2% Hp Heal each hit that would be good
@@Mxrcel.i0 yeah no it's really bad, but it does fit in the 'lifesteal' theme. Imo it should just be the same affect as Great Stars, I don't think it really works with ER especially late game where damage gets juiced.

I laughed my ass off when he was fighting the Giant boss and said “you basically can’t die with this build” then immediately gets killed. He didn’t even acknowledge it lmao
Something that could have healed you even more was replacing the icon shield with the butchering knife, which heals 1% of health on hit. This would apply to great stars totaling 2% of your health on hit. Probably more than the 3hp per second of the icon shield
Powerstancing great stars is a ton of fun.

The more hp the better the heal because the heals are % based. So 60 vigor and prayerful strike would be the best option for bosses that move fast with high stagger and prelate's charge for bosses that can be staggered like Melania or Renalla. The prelate's charge is also better for bosses with high holy defense

When the mist from the poison mist ash of war does poison buildup (not poison damage) it triggers the heal from great stars
(Doesnt work with poison armament incantation or poison mist incantation)
(Even works if poison is already applied from what ive heard)
He isn't wrong you just somehow misunderstood or made it clear that it had to be an AoW.
blood tax is a small life steal its realy good with the antspur rapier bleed and rott build up for beeg flat dmg and long anoying dmg great for big hp bosses

Our build
You can obtain a 2nd great stars. Great for double healing on hit, more versatility for the weapon arts, and more damage.
Rykard's Great Rune would give you even more healing, and can't help but think blasphemous blade would be better, but Great Stars are obviously a great choice as well.
I used Blood tax +swaddling cloth, frost-bloodflame, and other buffs (rot, poison, etc. fits for every boss ) . Before bloodtax, i used repeating thrust, with Greatlance. Insta stance breaks , fast enough, so it's a nice build. Only used butcher knife with prelate for malenia with bloodflame on. It was a solid run , without any hardships.

Oh Interesting i didn’t test it out, but I figured all the tears were in the “unique buffs” category and therefore could stack with anything

You missed all of volcano Manor's heal on kill items (blasphemous blade, Rykards great rune, takers cameo). There is also a curved sword named something like curved serpent gods blade that heals on kill. Still super entertaining though. Nice vid

the blessed dew talisman wouldve probably been better than the crimson for those bosses you cant crit, or ones you dont crit much. this build is a classic
it's a fun build, but once you get through that you'll probably go back to something else like a nagakiba blood flame. Surprisingly Helber spinning weapon with blood flame buff can chew a boss up fast. Not going crazy buffs but just very standard golden vow + flame grant me strength; a spinning weapon skill attack does 9k damage and it takes like a second. But double slash combo with stacking consecutive hit bonus still does more damage per combo but takes longer.

Jokes aside this seems like a fun build to bring into the dlc
I would've recommended putting some stats into your Strength to increase damage, but in this particular build the lower damage works better. If you kill them too quickly, you can't get the lifesteal as much as you do with the lower stats. Less damage = better healing.

Most stamina and most mana play through maybe or maybe max stamina or mana regen and usage reduction?
I am actually planning out something with max stamina as we speak so you will see something like that in the future! I Can add something with max mana to my video idea roster as well
There are other regen items that you missed, like the blessed dew talisman, takers cameo, blasphemous blade, and for fp regen options that pair nicely like sword of milos, and ancestral horn talisman
Finally you are the only person I've seen so far bring up the blasphemous blade like it's perfect for this build and everybody just forgot about it lol
also the pralets charge is a great counter for melania so if you stuck on her just get a big stamina and blue bar and some hp and oyu just constanly heal your self while melania getting staggered into obliviant

This was basicly my build when the game was just out. I even outclassed 'let me solo her' on the malenia fights back then.

You could've even further increased the healing by using the royal remains armor. It's not much, the full set gives like 10 hp per second but it's something.

Bloodflame effect inflicts bloodloss build up after you hit someone, it doesn't add some bloodloss build up alone.
Could also do 2 great stars by killing the NPC invasion in the ruins near the great stars cart.
A lot of people say Elden ring was very hard. But the funny thing is that it's a double-edged sword. If you understand the system and how to game it, then it becomes super easy to the point you are one shotting boss. So the situation is either boss one - two shot killing you or you one - 2 shot killing him lol
There also was an outer god of Dragons, served by Placidusax. But he just kinda dipped

DRIED BOUQUET could be a fun one for a GRIFFIF build
cos you summon say like 5 shieldy bois and they die each giving 15% AP ? depending if the talisman procs and stacks or only procs once.
I THINK fromsoft could sneek in a "one death = one 15% stack of ap" so if your summon is 5 rats ? 75% ap would be dirty?
Crazy to think how strong Morgott actually is… and pretty much at the start when the player character would technically be “weakest”…. We defeat him
Now sure, his little projection I guess isn’t as strong as his real self… but I don’t buy that because Margit is implied to have fought other demigods as per those giant sword monuments and some other tidbits

I really like storm caller ash if war with my great stars, bleeds so fast
could this be a viable build if i chose to use another weapon instead of the mace? id like something i could use for multitarget and faster attacks, or is the mace what makes it work?
The great stars has innate bleed on it allowing for the use of blood flame blade so I’d probably suggest keeping it. You could also try this without blood flame blade on the new bloodfiends arm weapon with blood affinity due to its insane bleed build up

0:30 Dumb thing, but I'll do it for fun anyway. "You can fly but you still fell to your death" is like saying "you have hands but you let go of a ledge you were holding onto". Wings are limbs which get tired as well and need physical force and exertion to be used. Having hands doesn't automatically make you lift 150 kilos, it depends on your strength.
With my build my mimic solos the game on ng+ even the dlc

Does blessed rune talisman work well with this right off the bat
I personally wouldn’t use it especially if you already have blessings boon and the Icon shield giving you the healing overtime already

You are good at the game and I like the build but you need a better setup. Your current one is a bit grating to the ear.
I also would love to see a bit of post production with a script to add variety. Maybe through some jokes in.

What method did you use to level up in this video?
I proritized having the minimum stats required to use the great stars and then mostly vigor after that because you need to be able to take hits and have enough vigor to heal it back. You also need a bit of endurance later to be able to prelates charge longer
good videos and all,but the damage you take from the bosses is weird,you face malenia naked in some videos and still take less damage than me with bullgoat set 60 vit

How do you get the fell twin boss fight?
If you defeat morgot and head towards mountaintops, instead of taking the lift down to the forbidden lands head east instead and make your way to the big tower. The lights will dim and spawn you in the fell twin boss fight
