Thanks so much, such a timely reminder. It's never too late to make friends, to keep in touch with old ones, to reconcile with frenemies, and to always try to be friendly.
I think the problem for my generation (zoomers) is that there aren’t many places to make friends any more, since so many people have the option to stay home behind the screen. In my parents/grandparents time, there wasn’t as much to do alone at home. If you were a kid in the neighborhood you’d go play with the other kids whether you want to or not because there wasn’t much else to do. Now there is, and kids choose to stay home, giving fewer opportunities for friendship to the kids who do choose to go out and play, and isolating the ones who stay in.

I find myself at the age of 65 with no friends at all. Just sayin'!
It's hard at our age. So many friends have died. I've lost five in the last few years alone.

St.Thomas makes it sound so easy (maybe it was in his day) but it's hard to find a True friend. Much less a prularity of them. Very rare!
