Genuinely fucking insane that this stream had an emergent narrative better than the actual story of Security Breach.

@ Yeah I’m actually really excited for Secret of the Mimic so I was trying to wrap my head around the reaction a bit more but that makes sense too, lol. To be fair at least we’ve only gotten like a minute of gameplay so who knows how it’ll be but I do hope it brings back at least a modicum of the vibes the old games used to give off. I heard the jumpscare noise in that game is literally a mix of SB’s and FNAF 1’s jumpscare sounds so a clash between the modern and old vibes like that could be cool, although maybe hard to pull off. Idk maybe I’m just too positive about these games for my own good. I’m just excited because this is gonna be the first FNAF game I play totally blind, and it’s gonna be in VR. I’m very scared but hyped
@@Bethany_Bradley Mhm, here’s a reason to get your hopes up: STEEL WOOL is better at VR games, and SOTM is coming out as both a VR and flat-mode game. Their flat modes haven’t been the best in the past, but HW2 is leagues better than HW1 in flat-mode edition. I could see this working out, especially since they’re testing it as a VR game too. Plus, HW2 VR is very good-there are only about three minigames I’m not a fan of in it. But yeah, you’re right. We haven’t seen much gameplay yet, so I’m still keeping my expectations low until we get a trailer, lol. And hey, if it’s good, Phil’s friends will probably let him know-or, well, who knows, lmfao! I hope it turns out well cause y'know, who doesn't wanna see things well for the franchise they like right lol. But still expectations are low for now~

I know that’s a slippery slope since I had faith in SB too and while I did have a lot of fun when I played it for myself last year, yeah the game is definitely still objectively garbage, even though I kind of love it, lmao. But I feel Steel Wool has certainly learned a lot since then and put themselves back in their VR element which is nice. I half agree with what Scott said in the interview about Ruin redeeming SB, because while I don’t think it redeemed the gameplay of the title, I do think it redeemed the story, and I’m actually a huge fan of the Mimic, being one of the few people who knew since Help Wanted 1 that Afton was never back (Steel Wool just thought he was back in SB because Scott didn’t tell them Burntrap’s true purpose), so I actually am hyped about the lore again, I just hope they stay more clear about stuff like Scott once was in Sister Location and Pizza Sim. As soon as I saw Chica missing from the restroom, I instantly knew what was going to happen. For people who don't know: In some versions of the gun mod, it can SOMETIMES unload that section and it's collision for whatever reason, and when you fall, the game takes you to that white sphere. I can usually get around it when it does happen with the Debug menu mod.
Since christmas is not celebrated here, the celebration falls on new years, watching this before the huge celebration and what a great thing to finish a year with

If you want a serious answer about how Gregory escaped Glitchtrap/Mimic, there IS actually some cut content in the SB gamefiles that talks about Gregory being controlled, and you had to somehow escape with the Balloon Boy World minigame. There's really not enough to figure out the whole story though When Scott said that the final story of SB is different from his vision he MEANT it
for Security breach being fixed i must admit one thing: security breach is broken beyond repairs in every single aspect from gameplay to story. I think that at this point it should not be fixed but remade and rethinked from the ground up
It is 2050, I'm watching this on the waybackmachine, Man, SB was so crash, I'm really feeling the mode. I agree with chat, it is crazy about the box, but crazier that Gregory is just Shadow the [I HAVE A GUN] (h)Edge-hog. Because he is controlled by Phil specifically.
I love how phil just... discovers how the mystery box works, like ye fnaf being doing that for a decade including the bite of 87 and ye it works wonder to develop the imagination but it also could be a problem if you do not have an actual...slither of an idea behind the mystery box it is a horrible idea XD
I don't think people realize what the implications of the Princess Quest ending being the canon one really are and how it makes the entirety of Security Breach even more nonsensical. Because it means that Gregory DID play those arcade games canonically. Let me remind you where those arcade games canonically are : 1. The first one is in Glamrock Salon, a place that Gregory has *NO CANONICAL REASONS* to ever go to. Most players even missed it on their first playthrough because its entrance really isn't obvious and is pretty much hidden. But *SURE* let's say Gregory canonically went there despite having no reasons to. 2. The second one is at the end of the Music Man corridor. You know, the one in which you run away from an aggressive Music Man trying to kill you. So there are two canonical ways Gregory could have accessed that arcade. Either before flipping that last switch, which means that, while being stalked by Music Man, Gregory decided to stop what he was doing to play some videogames. *RIGHT UNDER WHERE MUSIC MAN SPAWNS* mind you, implying that Music Man was patiently waiting for Greg to finish his videogaming before trying to kill him (how kind of him). Or Gregory played it after the chase sequence, meaning that, after narrowingly escaping certain death, Greg just went back in that same corridor like a fearless chad to play some videogames. Kid just doesn't give a damn. But *FINE* let's say that Greg canonically did that. Sure. 3. *THIRD AND LAST* arcade game is in Vanny's Lair, which you can only have access to... while Vanny is chasing you. Meaning that Gregory canonically ran away from a serialkilling lady in a fursuit, reached her lair yet, instead of using the Staff Bots control button that would have saved his life, ... decided to play some videogames. Again (I'm starting to think that Gregory either has severe ADHD or an even more severe addiction). BUT THAT'S NOT ALL, because it means that, canonically, Vanny just *STOOD THERE AND WAITED FOR GREG TO FINISH* instead of like, you know... stabbing him repeatedly until he stopped moving or something. Cause I guess professionals have standards. This canon is pure nonsense.

I was busy yesterday but I kept checking in to see how things were going, sadly couldn't stay for longer than a few minutes at a time. I was just settling down to work on a commission art piece just now! Though, since I have an actual job now as of last month, I am considering getting a membership here starting next season. I looked for it because I wanted to play with it but I couldn’t find any downloads and it’s apparently outdated and doesn’t work with the current version of SB so even if I could find it I couldn’t use it. If anyone knows where he got it and how he’s using it with the presumably current build of security breach I’d appreciate it.

As soon as I saw Chica missing from the restroom, I instantly knew what was going to happen.
For people who don't know: In some versions of the gun mod, it can SOMETIMES unload that section and it's collision for whatever reason, and when you fall, the game takes you to that white sphere. I can usually get around it when it does happen with the Debug menu mod.
Do you still have the mod/pak? If you do, does it work in the RUIN update like Phil's?
Since christmas is not celebrated here, the celebration falls on new years, watching this before the huge celebration and what a great thing to finish a year with
It went from Gregory shooting Vanessa with a Glock, to classic Fnaf gameplay, to chaos mod devs backdooring into Phil’s computer, to everything being the mimic, to solving Fnaf, to turning security breach into a silent hill style retro horror game by complete accident.

If you want a serious answer about how Gregory escaped Glitchtrap/Mimic, there IS actually some cut content in the SB gamefiles that talks about Gregory being controlled, and you had to somehow escape with the Balloon Boy World minigame. There's really not enough to figure out the whole story though

for Security breach being fixed i must admit one thing: security breach is broken beyond repairs in every single aspect from gameplay to story. I think that at this point it should not be fixed but remade and rethinked from the ground up

I agree with chat, it is crazy about the box, but crazier that Gregory is just Shadow the [I HAVE A GUN] (h)Edge-hog. Because he is controlled by Phil specifically.
I love how phil just... discovers how the mystery box works, like ye fnaf being doing that for a decade including the bite of 87 and ye it works wonder to develop the imagination but it also could be a problem if you do not have an actual...slither of an idea behind the mystery box it is a horrible idea XD
I don't think people realize what the implications of the Princess Quest ending being the canon one really are and how it makes the entirety of Security Breach even more nonsensical. Because it means that Gregory DID play those arcade games canonically. Let me remind you where those arcade games canonically are :
1. The first one is in Glamrock Salon, a place that Gregory has *NO CANONICAL REASONS* to ever go to. Most players even missed it on their first playthrough because its entrance really isn't obvious and is pretty much hidden. But *SURE* let's say Gregory canonically went there despite having no reasons to.
2. The second one is at the end of the Music Man corridor. You know, the one in which you run away from an aggressive Music Man trying to kill you. So there are two canonical ways Gregory could have accessed that arcade. Either before flipping that last switch, which means that, while being stalked by Music Man, Gregory decided to stop what he was doing to play some videogames. *RIGHT UNDER WHERE MUSIC MAN SPAWNS* mind you, implying that Music Man was patiently waiting for Greg to finish his videogaming before trying to kill him (how kind of him). Or Gregory played it after the chase sequence, meaning that, after narrowingly escaping certain death, Greg just went back in that same corridor like a fearless chad to play some videogames. Kid just doesn't give a damn. But *FINE* let's say that Greg canonically did that. Sure.
3. *THIRD AND LAST* arcade game is in Vanny's Lair, which you can only have access to... while Vanny is chasing you. Meaning that Gregory canonically ran away from a serialkilling lady in a fursuit, reached her lair yet, instead of using the Staff Bots control button that would have saved his life, ... decided to play some videogames. Again (I'm starting to think that Gregory either has severe ADHD or an even more severe addiction). BUT THAT'S NOT ALL, because it means that, canonically, Vanny just *STOOD THERE AND WAITED FOR GREG TO FINISH* instead of like, you know... stabbing him repeatedly until he stopped moving or something. Cause I guess professionals have standards.

Because you asked, this is very silly but I'm watching this VOD literally the day after the stream took place. I was busy yesterday but I kept checking in to see how things were going, sadly couldn't stay for longer than a few minutes at a time. I imagine this will be one of the streams I tend to rewatch though (the others being Droods and Kong Skull Island just to name a few.) I was just settling down to work on a commission art piece just now! Though, since I have an actual job now as of last month, I am considering getting a membership here starting next season. I'd like to be more present during streams once my life picks up a steady rhythm again instead of just living in VODs lol. See you then! PLEASE take all the time you need to rest, you deserve it! I saw this in live but as a VOD I decided to play this in the background at the begining of the new year - 2025.
PHIL IS FREE! FREE OF SECURITY BREACH AND THE ORIGINAL 6 FNAF GAMES! FREE!!! And now we are all left wondering "WHAT THE FUCK" when new FNAF lore is mention because we're not going to naturally get it here. (On a related note: O fucking HATE when video game lore/story is explained in books. I could forgive like sandbox games doing that, but games with story? I hate it)

How did Phil get that gun mod? I looked for it because I wanted to play with it but I couldn’t find any downloads and it’s apparently outdated and doesn’t work with the current version of SB so even if I could find it I couldn’t use it. If anyone knows where he got it and how he’s using it with the presumably current build of security breach I’d appreciate it.
