    Such a marvelous concept. I have my dream master daw controller designed on your website and right now I'm saving up to buy my own design lol. It's an awesome feeling to know I'm saving up for something that I designed myself

    Can You use the cc vumeter in ableton ?

    • @Yaeltex
      @Yaeltex  4 года назад +1

      Yes, you can send the level meter messages from Ableton to our controllers by using a custom remote script (not hard to make).

      @@Yaeltex cheers ! do you guys provide such a script ? can it work with something like remotify ?

    • @Yaeltex
      @Yaeltex  4 года назад +1

      @@Zimmermusic we are working on a universal script for our controllers (still in progress). You can use Remotify or Control Surface Studio. We use them too :D

    How to setup it with elektron boxes or other hardware midi gear? Does it only work with computers?

    This is very interesting to me, glad I found you. The encoders look really good. Do you have plans to add motorized faders at all?

    For using these encoders as macro’s they really need to be smooth turning. Stepped/detent has it’s use, but not for 75% of all parameter control.

    Buenisimo. Ahora yo quiero un controlador midi din para una maquina de ritmos analógica con esos encoders, pero antes de ir a su página debo saber lo siguiente: Supongamos que estoy en el patrón 1 de la DR machine y el volumen del kick está en 127 (lo que se reflejaría en el encoder con todos los leds prendidos) Al pasar al patrón 2 donde el volumen del kick es de 50, los leds cambiarían automaticamente? Agradecería su respuesta

      Nuestros controladores tienen memoria y pueden "guardar" los mensajes que reciben en distintos bancos para mostrar su valor recibido. Sin embargo, el feature que comentas no depende de nuestros controladores, si no de tu drum machine. Si al cambiar de patrón, la drum machine envía el mensaje vía MIDI, el controlador se actualizará sin problemas.

    Can you speak to the feel of your encoders? I’ve felt encoders with the click (BCR2000). I’ve felt encoders that are very fast. I’ve felt encoders that feel more like pots with a little resistance (i.e. Push 2). What about yours?

    • @Yaeltex
      @Yaeltex  4 года назад

      Hey Neil! Our encoders are stepped encoders (more like the ones on the BCR), and you can configure them with different speed modes to choose from "high resolution" control to "high speed" control.

    puedo conectar el controlador a la pc y mapear o si o si necesito mapear todo con la app? los encoders cumplen funcion de boton y knob?
    can i connect the controller to the pc and map from there or do i have to map everything beforehand? does the encoders work as buttons and knobs?

    • @Yaeltex

      You don't need Kilowhat as an intermediate to map your controller into your software. You can use it just to configure your controller the way you need, load that configuration into the controller, and you are done. All the settings are stored into the controller and you don't need Kilowhat until you want to change some configuration again.
