Oh the first one was *AMAZING*!!! I was cringing when you kept trying to fix them though because I know how impossible it is to 'fix' 🫣🫣😆😆 But it worked waaaayyy better on a tumbler than I thought it would! I think you did a great job! 😁😁
Thanks! I could tell when I mentioned this to you on IG that you weren’t too sure about the outcome 😁 In retrospect, sooooo stupid of me to try the “fix” 🤣🤣🤣 but in the moment, I couldn’t seem to help myself. 🤦♀️
@@Luxinda I honestly thought it would be waaaaay worse, you managed to make it look super good, especially considering how much paint you used 😅😅 Oh I know that feeling! It's hard to leave things for sure 😆😆
I don’t know how I missed this video until tonight! I love these and the sayings you chose! Can’t wait until you’re back in the saddle again! I miss you!
are you freakin kidding me right now holy moly what a brilliant outcome wowwww that squeegee one is out-freakin-standing and the steampunk gnomies adorable
This video had me cracking up. You are too funny I like them both especially after you did the layer of resin at the end with a glitter in it that really brought a little something something to it.
Really interesting method and concept for a tumbler...gd job on these cups!! Keep the videos & concepts coming!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
I love watching your content, I have had very good luck with just washing the acrylic paint off of my cup with water when I don't like it. As long as you get to it quick while it's wet it washes right off and you can just let it dry again and then start over
I was thinking there is no way this can work. But when you started and it was going so well I just loved it! I was thinking to myself and watching the paint coming from the bottom and I said now! Lift it! I was just as wrong as you. I would have had the very same mistake. I do see what you mean about the black and the white though. The white one really does look like a squeegee pull. You saved them both! I love all the different techniques you are showing. Keep them coming!
Thank you!!! In retrospect, I think I should have actually left a gap between the two edges instead of trying to match them up - let’s face it, I was just asking for trouble trying to have them meet up perfectly. A small gap between could have been much more easily camouflaged than any of the messes I made 😂
I love your channel. I enjoy that you step outside and do different things. I love all my creators channels, but I love that you do what others don't. Helps me to step out of my box. Thank you lady. You rock it!!
I really love the finished product on these, especially the squeegee this one... it took the "mistake" and made it look fantastic! I love the steam punk one too!!
So last week I was trying to figure out what I was going to do to add some art work over my bed. I have three canvases that I am going to try this on and maybe a cup or two. As always, thank you for sharing Love your work!!
I really love the "brights" one. Absolutely gorgeous, and the decal just makes it. The metallic paint one is nice, and I adore the gnomes, but the bright is definitely my fave.
I just watched the inspiration videos. Those guys made me laugh out loud, literally! Thanks for sharing. I like the look of the white cup. Might have to give it a go.
i love your experiments. the honesty and adventure are part of why i love your channel. these turned out better than i thought they would at first, especially the first one. i wonder if the consistency of the arteza paints made the difference? for the start/stop area, i was thinking that if you held the squeegee to the top, or even just a tad on the back of the curve, you could see better when to lift it. my funky ideas frequently don't work out right, but it might be worth a try.
Thanks! I definitely need to experiment with the whole idea some more. And, yes, I think the metallic paints or something in them were responsible for the different behavior with the second cup. I need to try the regular neons on black just to see.
I love the fact that you can turn an "oops" into a gorgeous cup. They both turned out amazing. I think the white one is my favorite- somehow reminds me of the tagging/graffitti they do on trains which is something I want to try. (Not on trains, but on a cup with a brick pattern in the back ground) Love watching your videos!
Thank you!!! 😊😊 Yes, I would *love* to see a tumbler with tagging on a brick wall background!!! I almost did something just like that to put over the “fix” area on the first cup in this video, but at the last minute, I pivoted back to the squeegee theme instead 😁
Ok, I love this!!! I really love that you made it work so beautifully, even though technically it was messed up. (Happy little accidents). They both look fantastic!! ❤
I absolutely love how they both turned out. Squee Gee This is my favorite. You've inspired me to dig into my huge volume of paint to do some tumblers. Love your channel 💜 You always make me laugh, but this one was by far my favorite. 🤣😂I was laughing throughout. Thank you for another awesome video.
I LOVE IT! But I think if you didn't leave a gap between the start and stop you could just gently release the squeegee as you overlap. It could make a cool blend of the start and stop.
Thank you!! Maybe, although I’m thinking that instead of trying to perfectly time something tricky, deliberately leaving a gap would not only be easier, but also make for an easier space to cover up or camouflage afterwards. I’ll keep experimenting 😊😊
I love them both for different reasons. The abstract (ish) is so cool. And yes, the 'I can fix this' is always a terrible idea 🤣. We've And all done it 🙄 and regretted it later. I love the pearl, mostly because the colors on black just pop. And to top that off, you used gnomes...my favorite of your design corrections. I will anxiously await it to show on the FB page for sale 😁
look pretty cool. But I was watching it, and I was thinking that when it got messed up you could have done the comb thing. I watched a video where you took a comb. You kind of went up-and-down. And it made it all wavy. I was thinking that would be pretty cool with the different colors.
I haven't yet. It might help or it might just make things worse - the trick seems to be more in the timing than anything else (at least for me). But I am working on another squeegee, video so lots more to try 😊
I don’t care these are amazing!!!! I gotta learn more about this printable vinyl. I’m mad I used to live 10 minutes from Mr. Nola glitter now I’m in Mississippi 😂😂😂😂
Thanks!! The squeegee graphics was from a site called pngtree (I just searched for “squeegee”), and the entire thing - the whole “Squeegee This” decal - was the squeegee art put together with the words in Cricut Design Space.
LOVE how they both turned out!! When you print/cut the gnomes, did you have the bleed on? Mine always have a white edge when cutting, which I don't like.
Thank you!! 😊😊 Yes, I toggle on the bleed before cutting. Sometimes it works better than others, and my machine seems to need frequent re-calibrating 😅
Maybe if you try it again instead of pulling the paint down go up instead so you can see clearly where the paint is. Also make your gap a whole lot closer. Cups are beautiful.
In most cases, yes, only alcohol. I use my heat gun when I’m making alcohol ink or mica swirl tumblers and want the movement. I haven’t used a torch in months now. But it’s personal preference.
You should have just kept going . It would have eventually started to blend again then you could have lifted the squeegee any time. I stooped watching you video as soon as you language deteriorated.
I saw this idea on Threadbanger too, & really want to try it. But I'm having a binge of your videos first, since I saw your art box on Anthony Crammen's channel. Have a nice break away from RUclips, & I hope all's well, or will be soon. Best wishes from Czechia.🌈🩷

Thank you!! I’m so glad I remembered those shape glitter gears at the last second - they helped (I needed all the help I could get) 😁😁😁
@@Luxinda they turned out gorgeous!
These came out really cool, but oh my do I love the steampunk gnomes!! 😍

I love the first one, the 2nd one is cute but like you said " looks like someone painted it on".
Thanks!😊
I loved the black one with the metallic paint. I wonder how going around it twice with squeegee would look, maybe with some glow in the dark paint?
Thank you!! Actually, with the metallic paints, going around twice would probably be really pretty! I’ll add that to my list of things to try 😁
Ok, I love this!!! I really love that you made it work so beautifully, even though technically it was messed up. (Happy little accidents). They both look fantastic!! ❤

Ooooh, that’s a very interesting idea! Thank you!!😊
Those are cool but I wonder if it would work better with a gloss paint or with a thin coat of epoxy first?
Interesting idea! 😊
you might try a thin base paint all over the tumbler then add the colors and spread
Love these!!!😍 omg the gnomes! Wonder if u use a smaller squeegee and did it on an angle so you’d finish on the bottom… 🤔🤔
Thank you!! 😊😊 Very interesting idea!!

What is you squeegee on vinyl and let it dry and wrap the cup 🥤
Absolutely, but the point here was to try on an actual tumbler 😊
Very gòd

Laughing my ass off over here. Love the energy
@@livingnatural4295 thank you!😊 That was a particularly fun project to try.
Try it with a wet base.
Where is the join button??

Maybe if you try it again instead of pulling the paint down go up instead so you can see clearly where the paint is. Also make your gap a whole lot closer.

Try using a paper towel and just wet the one edge. See if that works.
