Today, Ukrainian artillery targeted Russian defensive positions, killing 15 soldiers and destroying two armored vehicles. Commanders on the ground report that the operation to reclaim Ukrainsk is imminent, and reinforcements are arriving to support the effort.
In the Sudzha area, Ukrainian forces launched a successful attack today, destroying a Russian command post and killing 16 Russian soldiers. The disruption of Russian logistics continues to weaken their position in the Kursk direction, as Ukrainian forces prepare for further operations aimed at pushing deeper into Russian-controlled areas.
Russian forces attempted another breakthrough in Krasnohorivka today but were repelled by Ukrainian defenders. Ukrainian forces used drone-guided artillery to strike Russian positions, killing 13 Russian soldiers and halting the enemy’s advance. Ukrainian forces are maintaining control of key defensive points and are preparing for further Russian attacks.
