- The Tschilli trail is the Enduro Trail of your dreams. You will find everything you wish for from an epic alpine enduro trail. Roughly 1000 meters of vertical drop, varying terrain with loads of rocks and roots alongside smooth highspeed sections with breathtaking views down the upper Etsch valley or as it's also called the Vinschgau. The trail is on the sunny side of the valley and given the rare rainfall due to the special microclimate of the Vinschgau it is usually very dry. You can either ride up the paved road from Castellbell or take the cable car up to St. Martin am Kofel. It will take your bike till 8.30 a.m. and from 3 p.m. during summer season.
The run is identical to my earlier video that featured outtakes of this trail. This is the full uncut run from top to bottom.

This is the RAW unedited full run I did last year on the beautiful yet challenging Tschilli Trail. Approx. 20 minutes of boneshaking Enduro terrain. I uploaded the video for those who are interested in seeing the whole trail from top to bottom. It also shows the struggle of getting down a clean run. For me as the average Joe that's quite challenging.

Not sure how I missed this video. You were absolutely slaying it Christian. Some of those rocky downhill sections before the road were nuts. The section after the road had some super steep gnarly stuff! The last bit until the end seemed very fast, great job. Even though I had no idea what you were saying I could tell you were enjoying the trail.
Thanks Sage! Yes the upper rock gardesn are really hard to keep your momentum going. Pretty big rocks and gaps in between, hard to pick a line on first sight. And hard to remember the right line even on a second run. ANd yes it's a fantastic trail overall, awesome views and fast sections. Great fun to ride!
Hammer Trail BTW und wie immer sehr kontrolliert gefahren. Ich mag deinen Stil. Nichts übertreiben und sauber fahren.

wow what a trail! But the blue difficulty on trailforks...i think it's wrong 🤣
That's why I always also have a look at the voted difficulty. It gives me a better impression on what hto expect. Also the entry on trailforks is not matching the real trail, since there the Tschilli Trail only starts after the little drop onto the paved road. Sunny Benny and Tschilli share the lower part. It may be due to the fact that the Sunny Benny was built before the Tschilli Trail. In any way it'S a fantastic trail. I didn't have the time to also test out the Sunny Benny but will do so next time!
Darf ich fragen was für Reifen du genau fährst. Maxxis Assegai oder vorne? Welche Mischung und Karkasse. Das hört sich so fluffig an bei dir.
Ja genau, ich fahr vorne den Assegai. In dem Fall mit DD Karkasse WT 2.50. Fühl mich recht wohl damit. Hinten bin ich damals den Minion DHRII mit Exo+ gefahren. Den hab ich in Losinj zerstört und hab jetzt den Dissector DD drauf. Rollt gut, aber noch zu wenig gefahren, damit ich sagen kann ob er mir besser taugt. Ich würd sagen er ist verspielter, d.h. lässt sich leichter driften als der Minion.
@@gobikeyourself Luftdruck? Klingt nach so wenig zumal die DD ja viel steifer ist.
@@NDURcycling Ich glaube ich hatte nach dem 3Länder Enduro sogar noch ein Rimpact Insert drin, d.h. ich bin sicher mit ziemlich wenig Druck gefahren. Kann's Dir aber nicht genau sagen, weil ich das immer mit Finger-Mess-System mach ;-)
