Amazing. I remember as a child sitting with my Dad watching Billy Graham on TV and I remember seeing my Dad's face as he listened. I hadn't thought about that since until last week when I watched our pastor and church leaders having service online. It impacted me powerfully. I still struggled this week with fear and I focused many times on things I had no control over, but, God used me to lead someone to Christ. As this person and I were carrying on a conversation I began thinking about the invitation that Kurt had offered last Sunday and I offered it to this person and they said not at that moment. The next day it kept coming up in my thoughts and that evening I got the opportunity to tell this precious young woman how my husband's grandmother in 1918 was pregnant and had contracted the Spanish flu. She was on her death bed and an African-American evangelist got called to come and pray over her. She was healed! She got up and began cooking dinner. It was a miracle!!! My husband's mother was born 9 years later, then she had my husband, then we met, then I met this precious young woman. As I was talking to her I looked over at a picture of my husband and I surrounded by a few family members, along with his Aunt Thelma, who was the child his grandmother, whom almost died, was pregnant with. I told this young woman the story and then it came full circle so to speak, and right at that moment an incredible sense of God's presence came over me and I asked the young woman If she wanted to accept Christ as her Savior, and she said yes. How incredible is it that someone 102 years ago was used on March 24th 2020, to lead another to Christ!!! God is so good.
