I left a longer comment on the shorter video of this. I don't think people completely understand what happened in this video. You can say you see simply that Lukas let Billy play his guitar. But it's so much more than that. His Les Paul Jr since he got it in 2013 to 2019has been the only electric he played. He's let friends play some of his other electrics but never the Les Paul. His Dad is Willie who some call the King of Country which makes him the Prince. For the the Prince to pass to the heir apparent in Billy his special specter wand guitar was a magical moment. I hope people can appreciate that. Thank you for the longer clip.
it's a little bit like some other guy riding your motorcycle... or maybe even borrowing your wife... or something very much like that... like handing your motorcycle over to Evil Knievel.. watching the wild man flying over the grand canyon... holy tomoly ✌️😎... a braver man than I, señor Lucas...
I think they did 2 more shows with Billy after this. It would be interesting to see if the same thing happend. Willie does I'll Fly away at every show and has all the acts on stage for it. I saw Billy at the Ryman with Bob Weir also. He has the respect of some greats and legends.
@@RickarooCarew The bike and wife analogy are very appro. it's more about passing of the torch. When a new king or heir crowned or named there's a passing of the tradition Lukas very much has that with Bob Dylan Neil Young BB King .He's doing that with Billy Strings. Lukas only played a couple shows with the tour because he is on tour doing his own thing so this could only have happened when Lukas was at Outlaw fest.
