Jessica Threet - The Girls of Summer by Stephen Sondheim

Hope you all enjoy my rendition of "The Girls of Summer" written by Stephen Sondheim. We semi-recently did a Sondheim-themed recital with Tichman Studios in honor of the late man's would-be birthday. I had actually discovered this song after seeing Betsy Wolfe do a version of it in upstate New York last year, and I fell in love immediately. I knew I had to do a version of it for this particular recital. It is such a cool piece, and something so different from what you think of as a "Sondheim" piece.
