So sorry I have been absent lately. It has been a hectic two weeks. Thor nearly every time knocks it out of the park. I'm not a bunk model person per se unless I could convert the bunk area to an office or wardrobe space. The one thing Thor does great is the toilet placement. I don't think anyone or any size person would have an issue with the toilet. Great Job Thor! As far as having induction and gas you don't need multiple types of pots & pans. As long as the pots & pans are cast iron, enameled cast iron, or stainless steel they can work on either one and of course cookware branded for induction cook tops. Cookware made only from glass (including Pyrex and Corning Ware), aluminum or copper will not work on an induction hob. However, some cookware manufacturers offer aluminum or copper pans with a magnetized base that is specifically designed for induction cook tops. So, if it will work on the induction cook top it will also work on the gas stove but not vice versa. Dislikes: #1 I too am not a fan of the valances. I really prefer bland over bling. #2 Non convertible bunks. What you see is what you get. #3 No regular oven. Likes: #1 The bathroom and toilet placement. #2 The overall kitchen minus no oven. #3 Full body paint.
I have an induction cooktop, and propane stove. You can use induction on propane. It just doesn't cook as fast as when on induction. Also, if a magnet sticks to the bottom, it is induction compatible. One will get use to the look of the bottom to recognize it. I hope the kinks of the windows and drawers that won't close are fixed before he picks this up. I agree with the small doors as opposed to the drawer under table benches. Also access to lifting the bench in my opinion.
Great job, Matt and Andrea! You feed each other’s energy very well! Three dislikes: Drawers under dinette, valences and non-flip bunk. Loves: Everything in bedroom, PPP and honestly… my Black Jeep would look amazing behind the colors on that rig!
Matt you need a Matt towel. Like a golf towel you use to clean your clubs or balls. Sell it in your merch. And carry one for the inside of these hot coaches.
I think the induction option for cooking is nice if you either run out of propane, have electric hookups and are trying to save propane for other things or are out boondocking w/ a good solar setup and are trying to save propane for other things. Conversely, the propane option is nice if you are trying to save your battery and have access to propane refills. As others have said, any set of pots and pans should work on both.
The RV looks great. PS: this was a custom built RV, so the clients got what they wanted, but personally I can't think of anything much worse than traveling in this RV when it's filled to it's capasity. There is room for 6 adults and two kids on the jack knife sofa. I have been on a RV vacation with 3 adults and 2 teenagers, it was exhausting
Its been said already....yes any induction pan (more are then you realize) can be used on gas......but if you had no electricity or were conserving you would want to use gas. So both is AMAZING!
I would love to see a Class C with bunkhouse, having a hinging upper bunk and open space below/pop out table. So many of us either work remotely or are doing schooling remotely. With this option, parent(s) can work at the dinette, and kiddos/guests could work in the bunk area. Alternatively, the lower desk area would be great for child or adult crafting.
I find it disturbing that this unit is on the lot with broken drawers and screens. Yes, probably easy to fix but how many more issues are there that are hidden and caused by poor craftsmanship and bad QC?
I like that there is a regular bed and not a fold up bed. I like the window over the bunk. I like the big bunk over the cab and the safety netting. I like the dinette storage under the bench seats. I like the tower of power in kitchen. I like the big exit window in the bedroom. I don’t like not having shelves in storage over the sofa and dinette. I don’t like not having an countertop extension in kitchen. I don’t like the carpet under the slides. I don’t like the bunks not lifting up.
Andrea is kicking butt on identifying the refrigerators now. I'm quite proud of her. Matt, thank you for coming around to my view on the stove...give me gas or electric. I prefer electric. Sister products should offer the differences...say a Chateau have all gas, Quantum have all electric. You listening STEVE? Love my THOR motor coaches. Bang for the buck!
1. I’d rather have theater seats than a dinette 2. Bunks, could they be on hinges so you could have hanging storage also. Is there a way to make an office area there or stackable washer/dryer in the bunk area? 3. What’s with the screens? Two of them were off. 1. I love the area to walk with the slide in. 2. Love that you can get to the bed with the slides in. 3. Love the secure bunk area with the windows. Happy 4th Matt and Andrea, I enjoy watching your videos.🇺🇸
For the expensive price, the outside storage should have the "slam" latches instead of the twist latches. Thor quality is why the drawer under the dinette does not latch. Thanks for the review.
I love this Thor! I agree with you Matt on the dislikes. Also for the price the locks outside shouldn’t be the twist locks. The 3 things I love are the exterior and interior and the refrigerator with a pantry and plus a bunkhouse. And the 800 lb. top bunk. TVs in a great place too. Thank you Thor and Matt and Andrea.
Love the paint job on this unit, not a fan on the refrigerator! I prefer the dual power ones so I can use propane if needed. Like that you can get to the bed with the slide closed. Don't like that the bunk doesn't fold up. You two did a great job showing it!
I absolutely love everything about the overhead bunk. Windshield with shade, side window that opens, fan, and most of all the room to sit up. A+ if you ask me.
I totally LOVE this motor home, and agree 100% with Matt’s dislikes because I don’t have little kids, but do have dogs. One extra dislike, is I would rather have an oven under the stove instead of a drawer.
I currently have a Vintage Cruiser travel trailer. I love the retro color scheme with the modern conveniences. I would like to see the “vintage” decor in a class C, especially this one. I am a tad concerned that Thor let this out of the factory with the window screens and dinette drawer problem. I am considering moving to a class C as I am getting ready to retire. I do like this layout. Thank you Matt and Andrea for reviewing this unit.
Hey Matt and Andrea, I have a suggestion for ALL of your motor homes or vans, I would hate to always take off the kitchen covers especially when I see how heavy some are and find a place to put them while a person is using the kitchen. So why don't you tell them to make some kind of slots they can be stored in or hund on the back of the doors under the sink?! Man that's what I would want otherwise you have to find a place to store them safely. It would be a constant hassle don't you think Andrea?
When they talk CCC they forget to tell you where the weight can go, we made the mistake not to weigh our Class C before we wrote the cheque and boy did we get a surprise, our was within 140 Ibs of the max allowed weight in the rear axle, empty folks, nothing loaded at all. Hi Matt and Andrea, I don’t know why I watch I’ve never RVd before. I enjoy the way you promote yourself as a salesman. I’m retire in Florida and enjoy watching how people make a living. Anyway by the way good luck on your new home……Bobby
So Matt, you do realize the Gillette, Whoming is in the middle of nowhere. Empty land except for ranches and nothing else. It is over an hour to the West to the eastern edge of the Big Horn Mountains and at least two hours to the western edge of the Black Hills. There is nothing there, so don't think you are going to see lots of sites.
Black paint = heat heat heat in the summer sun. The higher spec RV's all seem to have dark paint. That is going to be really tough to get cooled down on a bright sunny day. It will burn lots of gas running that generator hard to keep those black painted AC units running. Beautiful but dumb if you camp anyplace remotely hot. Nothing shows dirt like black paint as well. Look at that nice white RV with the white AC covers in the background!
Lightning ⚡️ colors! Perfect timing with the Stanley Cup Games on tonight! Go Lightning ⚡️! Love ❤️ these colors. Second favorite colors Buccaneers. I like Blue best, but I like the Bucs best.
Nice job Matt and Andrea! I am with you on likes and dislikes, however I disagree about being able to sit up in the front bunk. It looks tall enough to roll over and maybe lean on your side, but, not to sit up unless you are child sized. I like this model, but, not a fan of the shower.
Great coach. Once again, agree with Andrea about the valances. My pet peeve would be that the passenger seat back can not recline, due to the sofa armrest right behind the pax seat. Agree with you too Matt, either give me propane cook tops or induction. You really do need different pots and pans for each.
I HATE the TV there. It's like the plastic toilet, radius shower and twisty lock doors on some RV's, to me. I, also, dislike the non-flip up bunks and the valances. I love the 2 types of burners (but I'd prefer all induction), the cabinet colors and the bedroom storage. P.S. Andrea's "power of tower" is as cute as Wil's "hood range" And, Andrea's hair style and color look fabulous.
You said it was customer ordered, so they probably ordered the two different cook tops, plus they probably ordered the bunks, must have kids. I really liked it. Could have been a few feet longer and theater seating.
Likes: Safety netting for the bunk over the cab, front window in the bunk over the cab, two a/c units, and beds are usable when the slides are in Dislikes: Potable water fill and city water connection were not lockable, twist lock exterior storage, propane tank door should not be lockable, TPO roof, window screens were falling off, and the step into the bed area.
Not a fan of... 1) of the radius shower doors, would rather have a radial screen or a full side to swing open (better opening for us full figure people) 2) the low CCC is very low especially for a bunk house 3) wish they an outside fridge for at least storing some extra drinks. I think bunk houses especially need that extra cold storage. 4) would be nice to have either netting on the top bunk or have it fold up if not needed. I'm loving... 1) all of the power outlets. The dinette has USB port in addition to the contact charge. It is almost essential to have a tower of power in the kitchen 2) not usually a fan of having the TV in the cab over bunk but this one has a decent angle 3) I love have the dual options for the stovetop and the compressor fridge. Hey Guys, I was surprised the MSRP on this one came in a bit under the last one you guys had just done, since you indicated this was a "Luxury" edition. Although it was very nice, I still liked the previous one more. I'm also with Matt about the Bunk Beds. I would rather NOT have them there at all, and instead, have a Washer/Dryer and some storage space... plus always prefer a model with an actual oven in the kitchen.
@@MattsRVReviews Yes you can when I'm cooking on the inside I use my gas stove in my RV if it gets too hot inside I use my induction on the outside and I use the same pots and pans as long as they're rated for both induction and the gas
Hey Matt and Andrea, thanks for the review. I like the electric blue color on the outside, and the bunk over cab with its 800 lb limit. The bedroom seems tight to me and I'm not crazy about the cooktop with induction and burners, but that's just me. Keep on keepin' on!
I don't like the bunk bed I would rather have a larger bedroom and bathroom the cabinet should be quite closing as well as all the drowes as a disabled man with mobility problems the shower needs a set I love the colors inside and out love the camera placement and the heavy duty bumpers
Likes Accessible bed with slides in Night stand/shelves are high enough to make it a bit easier to make the bed. When they hang over the mattress a bit and are lower, it’s hard to stuff the covers underneath (from experience) Like that there is a little dresser top in the bedroom to put some things on. Dislikes Step up to bedroom area…trip hazard combo with overall quality issues showing (screens, dinette drawer) Can’t recline passenger seat at all due to sofa placement Agree with Matt- bunks should flip up. Combo with wishing there was a nice wet bay outside instead of water fill just stuck on the side.
❤ 800 over the cab bunk 👍 ❤ NICE coach!!! ❤ light bright interior colors 😡 gas on right side not a deal breaker 😡 NEED slide out drawers / SHELFS on pantry
@@travellingslim Actually these units have a power management system that manages the amperage to the electrical components in use. It allows the two A/C's to remain in operation at lower amps if you are running other appliances that place a load on the electrical circuits. The won't be as efficient but they will continue to flow air through you coach.
Any cookware that works on induction will work on gas??? Cast iron and stainless cookware work on both gas and induction, aluminum will not work on induction. Having said that, for $150,000 I wouldn’t want that horrible TV position, those crappy outside storage latches, and who would want to have to reinstall all of those screens that were dislodged every time I got to my destination? Those screens and that drawer just shows that quality control these days is worse than ever, and since it’s always been bad, that’s saying a lot!
I would have liked the sofa and dinette switched. I like having the dinette on the camp side. If the sofa was on the other side maybe have a smaller sofa and extend the kitchen counter.
Dislikes: 1. It's a Ford. Deal breaker. 2. All those janky screens that are hanging off. 3. Isn't that a charger for a smart phone only? If so, it's only going to get in the way for me. 4. All the bland, "neutral" colors. 5. Price. 6. Slide outs. 7. Small fridge. Likes: 1. The valances. 2. Auto levelers. 3. Convection MW 4. Induction/propane choice. 5. Big, deep drawers. 6. No TV's in the bunks. Those are always a waste of money and space when there is already one TV in the living area. Having a TV in every space is overkill, imho. 7. Nice sized bedside tables. Very impressive. AND a window at the head of the bed, two of the things I like! And with little nooks. Now that is really nice. Someone really thought that one out. Sorry I went 7 for 7 but this coach has a lot of things packed into it. Matt, you can still use the bunks as storage even if you have no kids. Some storage containers from Walmart, pack your things into them and store them in the bunkhouse. Too bad though that there are no privacy curtains or doors for the bunks though to hide those things that are being stored. I also like the fan over the upper bunk area. Nice, especially when you only have one window up there. Well, I can certainly tell that this motorhome is well insulated by the amount of persperation on the two of you. But I don't think this MH would be good for going to the desert. But if I went to where it snows, looks like I'd be fine.
This is the second LF31 that has had pre delivery damage. The last one had a broken latch under the bed, and this one has several window and drawer defects. One does wonder how many other problems an owner can expect to deal with. I wouldn't pay or take delivery of a "new" vehicle with so many quality faults.
Dark color looks super, but way too hot! White only! Broken screens? Crap under seat drawers front? Only north of a thousand pounds payload? Yikes! Rig too heavy.
I liked the paint scheme on the outside. I hated how boring the inside colors are. I don't like the TV over the bunk. Like Andrea, I don't like the valences.
I feel sorry for the buyer, drawer not staying in, screens falling off...........welcome to Thor??? Matt, when in Wy, how about doing a walkthrough on a Northwoods, Arctic Fox, or Nash, or O.R.V. Maybe General will pick them up for a travel trailer line.
Matt is the hardest working RV guy on RUclips. Thanks for the review.

How can the rig only have a 30 amp system yet have two (2) a/c units? Doesn't it have to have 50 amps for 2 a/c units? Thanks M & A! You're the best!
They're smaller AC's with lower BTUs so they can just barely make it with the 30amp.
@@travellingslim Actually these units have a power management system that manages the amperage to the electrical components in use. It allows the two A/C's to remain in operation at lower amps if you are running other appliances that place a load on the electrical circuits. The won't be as efficient but they will continue to flow air through you coach.
The cargo carrying capacity seems low for a bunkhouse unit.
In the bunkhouse, I would like to have the top bunk flip up with the bottom bunk as a dinette/work area.
Don't like the outside storage doors flipping down not up, hate the bunk beds
F&T Cheers!!! Lost a friend and Utuber Brother Tom.❤️❤️❤️
First thing inside was what's with the screens.
Things are already falling off this rig.
I would have liked the sofa and dinette switched. I like having the dinette on the camp side. If the sofa was on the other side maybe have a smaller sofa and extend the kitchen counter.
Love it great unit!
$150K and twisty locks? Get outta here.....
Great videos my goal is to retire live full time in one
LIKE THE REFRIGERATOR THE BUNK OVERCAB THE COLORS DON’T LIKE THE COOKTOP NO FLIP UP BUNK DOORS UNDERNEATH THE DINETTE
CCC !? that cant be right. in a bunkhouse ! after you put the mom and dad in you'll only have room for one kid and a frying pan
Looks beautiful tell hail hits it 😂
I can’t believe she didn’t say it!! Those valences are TOTALLY Art Deco!!!! 🤣
Hi Matt I want to see more of super c class
Are you sure CCC isn’t 1347 KG? Seeks way too low in pounds.
The CCC is low because these units are very heavy and it leaves no room for cargo
What is the distance from the center of rear wheels to back of motor home?
You doing any live feeds from WY?
Dislikes:
1. It's a Ford. Deal breaker.
2. All those janky screens that are hanging off.
3. Isn't that a charger for a smart phone only? If so, it's only going to get in the way for me.
4. All the bland, "neutral" colors.
5. Price.
6. Slide outs.
7. Small fridge.
Likes:
1. The valances.
2. Auto levelers.
3. Convection MW
Do the Class C’s on Ford Chassis with the V-8 have built-in tire pressure monitors?
This is the second LF31 that has had pre delivery damage. The last one had a broken latch under the bed, and this one has several window and drawer defects. One does wonder how many other problems an owner can expect to deal with. I wouldn't pay or take delivery of a "new" vehicle with so many quality faults.
Matt if you were going to buy an rv, which one would you get?
Dark color looks super, but way too hot! White only! Broken screens? Crap under seat drawers front? Only north of a thousand pounds payload? Yikes! Rig too heavy.
I liked the paint scheme on the outside. I hated how boring the inside colors are. I don't like the TV over the bunk. Like Andrea, I don't like the valences.
Agree with your dislikes plus adding shower small.
Likes same as yours.
For this family model there should be an oven.
PS. I think you are both adorable!
Thank you ☺️
@@foxcroftandrea3213 I did mean the sink covers. 😉
Extremely low cargo carrying capacity; you can probably forget about towing anything unless the rest of the thing is pretty much empty
I don't think you could have 9 people sleeping in there without exceeding the CCC. Crazy lol. I wouldn't want 9 people in there anyway but still 😊
You need to start carrying a small towel.
What size is that fuel tank to be full and only get 407 miles?
