Pat Smear has started playing the big-body Trini Lopez in recent years, you can see it in the first season of Sonic Highways. I've heard of a few people say that the Barney Kessel Gibsons make great rock guitars, if you can find a way to cope with the feedback.
Brian Setzer's Gretsch, Harrison's and Lennon's Rickenbacker's. Harrison's Gretsch. I'm sure there are so many more. Side note: I guess Mary Kay is the person with a signature color - Mary Kay White. Great video. Awesome job, Joe.
How about a Dave Yorko model Fender!! He played some of the hottest guitar with Johnny and the Hurricanes back in the late 50s early 60s. Of course, there also Santo and Johnny!
Has this guy played with AHJ as a touring member in his early days? There's a gig called 'From the basement' where one of the guitarists look just like him
I was surprised when Adam Slack of The Struts mentioned (in a Sunday Service video) acquiring a Trini Lopez inspired Dave Grohl model. I would have figured him as too young to know even Trini's name.
Man that es-175 sounds so clean. It's a hidden treasure in guitars.
I have 1 for a steal from a friend of mine. It's actually signed by Steve Howe. Great sounding guitar.
I just realised dave grohl has a signature of a signature
I love the early 80s Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion. Would love to see a less expensive reissue of that!
So Dave Grohl's model is based on the Trini Lopez model that's based on the Barney Kessel model?
Well technically it's based on a 335
Still to this day I love my Fender JagStang, Fender TVL Jazzmaster, and my Epiphone Lucille, they are all great guitars especially for me personally.
This series explains concisely but throughly. A very rare trick.

Anybody know what the guitar is over Joe’s shoulder?
that would be my Framus Idolmaker. A gift to me while on tour in Europe a couple years ago. Love it :)
The Jimmy's Gibson EDS-1275 double neck guitar is my favorite! :D
My favorite is the Barney Rubble Rockcaster.
Hi Joe, great content as always. Thanks dude.
thank you!
Man, these videos are gold.
I've always wanted the Ed O'Brien Signature. I tried one a year ago but didn't have the money at the time.
Also always out of stock at stores because the preorder waitlist gets them all snapped up quick.

I note that Gene Cornish of the Rascals or Young Rascals used a double cutaway Gibson jazz box!
Surprisingly awesome: Washburn Nuno Bettencourt Model

How about the Gibson Tal Farlow? And hearing Breezin' always puts me in a good mood
My favorite signature model? The "Voodoo Strat."

Well done!
The Byrdland is also a guitar with a kind of unknown origin
Its name derives from the names of guitarists Billy Byrd and Hank Garland.
You've got to love those crazy wacky plastic Kay headstocks and pickguards. Too bad their guitars don't
play as good as they look.
What's the reverse offset behind you Joe?
More importantly, what’s that reverse jaguar style guitar on your wall? 😍
Thanks for the video. The signature that i would love to find and afford is the Gibson tal farlow
I love the Tricky Gomez by Reverend, their faux Trini Lopez. They made a cool backstory for their imaginary signee, lol.
This dude Joe is the goat
What about Les Paul ... :)
Somebody should have come up with a Mary Osborne model or a Sister Rosetta Tharpe or Memphis Minnie model.
Billy bo?? the Gretsch Jupiter Thunderbird
he used it a lot but wasnt a signature
The gibson les paul is probably my fav
My fav signature guitar is Gibson Les Paul.
The reverend Tricky Gomez is a cool nod to Trini
I se a pattern of jazz players who like gibson here
Boo.

What, no Ibanez Pat Metheny model?
I was wondering the same thing, especially the PM120 with that unique double cutaway.
hell yea!
I wish SRV was alive to produce a signature model better reminiscent of his number #1. Wishful thinking.
Hey Joe
Where you goin' with that gun in your hand?
RIP Trini Lopez
The 60 fps was annoying.
Yeah i know that those are my guitars.
Dave Grohl has a signature model?
Sad world, ain't it?
martin benko it’s based off the Trini standard, he changed a few things and it’s in a blue color. (believe the Trini standard only came in cherry)
@@joermnyc I know that he is playing that blue Trini, but is it official production signature model?
I had the Joe pass epiphone. I hated it nothing but feedback
This video should've been called Jazz guitarists and a woman's signatures
