Fun fact: When you hold a candle and an entity is coming the flame extinguishes with a blue glow, everyone knows that, but when it extinguishes it plays a very short piece of the guiding light music.

I don't know, something about guiding light is so calming. The whole premise of the game is high stakes, just... survive. Encounter after encounter with enemies trying to kill you, having something there as a sort of... friend? It's really comforting when I play this.
An example is in the new figure cutscene. Figure tries to get you, but you hear glass break to the left, and he runs there instead. Then, when you walk over there, you see a faint guiding light glow. Because it saved you by causing a distraction.

@@sonicplushpals334 The new Figure AI seems easier tbh. The old one would just rush you if you moved an inch within a 10 mile radius. Meanwhile, the new figure seems to have a set movement pattern and I also haven’t gotten killed while trying to figure out the lock combination.

Guiding light is probably the best theme out there and a good motivation to keep going

after listening to this topic about 2-3 times, I remembered and understood all my 69 mistakes (deaths) that I made. And now I'm about a player who is interested in this game more than ever, a pro who dies with a 10% chance and statistics that counted 12 wins in my pocket. But when I first heard this song and didn't know anything about the game I just.... I came out of it, and when I tried and died again.... then I did not cry, but still I felt in my soul like a guiding Light watching my every defeat experiencing the same pain.
That's literally the same thing with me, but when I started playing doors it took me only 4 rounds to beat it, I beat doors 40 times and I'm still interested in the game
Fun fact: When you open door 50, Figure will start chasing you but Guiding Light distracts him by breaking a lamp so that you can safely get in.
Small theory by me: Halt is Guiding Light but possessed by an evil spirit. That evil spirit could be the creator of the entities and hotel.
It's a good theory, but the crucifix will work on halt and the crucifix is powered by guiding light, so it will be strange for guiding light to trap it self

What’s jarring is when you take this sense of comfort that Guiding Light gives away, replace it with the semi-cold tone of Curious Light, especially in places like The Backdoor specifically. In The Backdoor, everything feels claustrophobic and very broken in a way, which compounds that lack of comfort and Curious Light doesn’t really help alleviate that on death.
I get chills down my spine whenever I listen to this. It fits so good with a character trying to guide you.

I play this when I feel stressed and it never fails to be some what of a stress relief
I literally love every single doors soundtrack, and this is definitely my 3rd most favorite soundtrack in doors, now if you didn't know for me I actually beat doors 50 times and I still love the game and play it a lot, it's the best roblox game I've played and theres no need for proof, when I started playing roblox in 2019 I wouldn't have expected a really good well-made horror adventure game like DOORS with the best sound design ever. Never let DOORS die and if it dies and becomes unpopular I'll still be with DOORS and the developer's no matter what.
