Have you looked at pulling the shifter apart and cutting the shaft and re welding at an angle to clear the cup holder. then make a new shift stick adapter?
The Corvette never had a 5 speed, they went from the Doug Nash to the ZF-6 6 speed trans. I went with the T5 because of the cost and ease of fitment. And yes I need cupholders
The cupholders suck! From experience! Had a glass Coke glass in there and did a small pull not even on full power and that shit fell right out and Coke went EVERYWHERE.
I’m looking at a T5 for a low-ish HP C3. Needs a bit more gear for the high way
Was yhe car automatic. i want to do a stick swap on my c4, but dont know if I have to cut the tunnel
Yes the car was an automatic. You do not have have to cut the tunnel other than where the shifter comes through.

@@VROllie1 That's an interesting idea. I was thinking of moving the ball at the bottom but the top part would work too.
I'm thinking about doing this to my 93. Is this an expensive swap? I would have to pay someone since I don't have the expertise.
I think I had about 1200 in my swap. You can buy a kit , I think from SST
How did u wire the reverse wire
There is a reverse switch on the side of the transmission
How good does that alum shifter block work ,does it make the shifter feel strange ? where did you get the plate to move the shifter back ?
So buy a factory 5sp. Post 4+3? Cup holders are a must have!!
