and here we have an Australian Burgerman in his native habitat, note the custom Australian wood guitar he has attached to him. Good on ya, mate. Wish I could see you live someday.
What an awesome venue! I am sure everyone will show their appreciation to be out hearing live music again. Rig sounds fantastic - love the axes….tele with the native woods is so unique.
This was great. That telecaster is gorgeous with amazing specs. You're live rig sounds stellar. Of all the guitarists I know who use an Axe FX, you're the only one that makes me REALLY want one. Wish I could see the show..
I'd proudly sit at that kit and jam with you Brett. Magnificent tones and so easy on you and the sound guy. Brilliant my friend. So damn talented. I have played 3 casinos. Biloxi Grand in 90s. A warf event at ex casino 90s called lady luck. ...Then Copa casino which was a boat. I worked at 2 of the casinos back then. Couldn't gamble where I worked but could get in with gigs. Hahah. I knew the big guys in Biloxi one an uncle Clyde Holly Rip...be well my friend ...I am leaning so much with guitar. Still I do miss the drummer in me.
It's great to see you on stage, Brett... I look forward to the upcoming re-opening here in Montreal so I can get back to gigging. Post some clips of the show you're playing if you can - I'm sure your fans would appreciate it.
Great stuff Burgs, looking forward (after multiple Covid-related delays) to seeing you guys on Tuesday night at the Tivoli in Brisbane - I think I actually bought the tickets around 2 years ago!....
"Beautiful work bloke!" Trust the gig went well to a large crowd at the casino. The new boots almost looked as good as the strat, but that tele left both in its heel. 😎👍
You really tweak your Fractal to sound beautiful. Always. Some weird corner of my brain always rebels a little bit when I see you running Fractal in your RUclips clips, (me being a bit of an old school tube amp snob) but there's no denying that you know how to make it sound absolutely fantastic with no caveats. It just plain sounds great. I'm guessing it takes a lot of hours to refine that skill. Good one! I hope you had a great gig!
I love tube amps too, Larry. But this solution is far more practical for needs. I'll repeat a comment I left a little further up: "A fair comment. It's true, I do own examples of most of the classic tube amps. I'm a child of the 70s and still love them. But they became impractical on the bigger tours where flights and backline hire became a daily occurrence. Then there was the occasional disastrous hiccup, like a valve blowing in the middle of a solo or something. The advent of top-shelf modellers was a godsend for me and most of the other Fractal Audio artists that use their stuff. We can choose from over 280 accurately modelled amps, many unobtainium otherwise, pair it with one of thousands of IRs of our choice, dress it with endless effects if we choose and carry the whole thing in a much more flight friendly road case, never having to worry about backline or the myriad of potential issues with the good old valve amps. I doubt I'll ever go back, at least in the touring capacity. Artists, if you're interested: www.fractalaudio.com/artists/"
I finally got your rig1 loaded, it wouldn't load due to update 2.0 not being installed, my bad. That being said, these are unbelievable!! Possibly the best I've heard and downloaded and I went thru a Helix with about 50 downloads for live shows. Thanks!!
Sweet. Thanks a heap. The new fw 5.0 is fantastic too. Have you tried the Eastman semi hollow. I would interested in your thoughts on it and how it compares to other brands
Great preset.i imported to the fm3 and had to fix some routing and drop the phaser and wah and pan because of cpu usage but definitely one of your best I have used
Burgs makes everything sound good. Even digital modellers and characterless modern noiseless strats . He has programmed fantastic sounds but I find it intriguing that he doesn’t use any amps even though he owns amazing amps. That looks like a fun band to be in. Nice guys that can play and great tunes.

Brett would the monitors work as a cabinet for gigging. I’m yet to really find a great power cab for my Helix. I’m close to getting a FM9 Great channel mate. Awesome info and playing

I see feel the excitement in your eyes to be playing live! I don't care what rig you're playing. Good for you.
You wouldn't be a professional guitar player would you Brett? What a convenient, well optimized rig, congratulations

@@BrettKingman Fractal are the tip of the spear when it comes to modelling, just the mutts nuts
Have you tried the quad cortex yet? It’s epic
No. I'd like to check it out sometime, for sure.
@@BrettKingman I think you would like it. It’s far easier to operate than any other system. I’ve tried them all
What do you tweak live, high and low pass filters?
I downloaded this preset..rig1 I believe, it won't transfer or load to fm9...help
Oooooooo. Does the Eastman DC Jr still get any love?
Killer, as usual.
I’m surprised your running digital. Sounds fantastic. Why would you use a heavy amp? Maybe small gigs but seriously that sounds awesome.
Brett would the monitors work as a cabinet for gigging. I’m yet to really find a great power cab
