    I think the Aerofit Pro has one of the best open ear design, at least it is what has worked best for me. I am glad EarFun used this design. Although, I personally feel that physical buttons work better for open ears, as opposed to touch controls.

    Have just ordered today as was wanting some open ear buds for the gym and running.
    I have had another pair of Ear Fun Pro and been reliable and also impressed with their customer service as my earlier pair (well over a year) broke, mentioned on Amazon (just as a review) and they proactively got in touch and sent me a brand new pair of the latest version.

    How is the sound compared with FIIL GS?
    It's actually suitable for serious listening, but battery suffers from LDAC (~6 hours)

    Great video as always, Keith. :)
    As I've said before, I'm not a fan of the open ear style, but at least they don't rob you for the LDAC and multipoint connection. I was also impressed by the call quality. If there was traffic and wind in that call, I couldn't tell. I still don't see the point of LDAC on open ear earbuds, but at least they're a good buy if you can get them at $55.

    I wonder if you could make a mixed baby of true wireless earbuds and open earbuds. So you had the wearable of a open style earbud but the true wireless earbud sound if possible.
    Mostly due to true wireless earbuds fall out of my ears and i bet open style earbuds would suit me more but eh im a bass head so would be amazing if they invented something for bass

    On the french amazon they retail around 100$
    Also I am not sure that this type of buds is appropriate for someone wearing glasses.
    I bought a pair of qcy open buds (crossky) for about $25 during the 11/11 sale, and I got so satisfied with them that I bought a second pair, despite their limitations.
    Not sure that those surpass them, except maybe for the ip67 feature.

    I guess 2025 will be the year when we truly find out if this open ear nitche people care about, me personally I like the seal of a classic earbud, now saying all that I'm constantly picking up my kid at UCLA on the weekend, and if I learned one thing from this generation is they all walk around in earbuds all over the place through traffic and sooner or later I can see the adaptability of this design... so again, let's see.

    • @spikeimperial
      @spikeimperial 14 дней назад +2

      honestly if you have no like objective issues (infections requiring drops like neomycin for example) then stick to whatever ya like. but open ears have been awesome for needing less medicine in my ears, I also needed ear tubes as a kid so take that as you will. But yea, Im just glad there is something for everyone!

      I have been a fan of open earbuds for that reason and as well as needing to hear my surroundings for where I work and at home for my family. If I need to be immersed I will wear over ear headphones.

    • @alejandroelcid
      @alejandroelcid 14 дней назад +1

      @spikeimperial I completely agree. I still enjoy my in-ears but being able to limit the use of earbuds inside my ears and instead switch to an open design has done wonders for my ear health. No more inflammation, no more pain. The Aerofit Pro has changed my perspective on open ears; even when the Samsung beans, the Tozo Open, and the MEE open ears didn't work for me.

    these type of earbuds are the most dangerous to your ears, you increase the volume because nothing is blocking the outside noise and you end on 80%+ volume that would inflect severe damage to your hearing. I don't understand why companies have zero standards whatsoever they didn't even bother to implement any protection methods like limit your DB within the app or anything,
