All these videos on pemdas dont know what you are talking about. Your teacher taught you that and you just remembered it. Monkey see monkey do. × first then ÷ . 12÷4×3= 3×3=9. 12×3÷4=36÷4=9. + first then subtract. -3+12+4. Should I say add or subtract. So to avoid confusion why not use PEMA
