My Renegades unstitched where yours did in the thumbnail after less than 50 miles, bought the new Renegade Evo that fixed that issue but they went with a new outsole and its like friggin ice skates on every wet surface, id highly recommend just avoiding both, they are very comfy but I wouldnt get another pair. Plenty of great offerings from Scarpa and La Sportiva.
