Father is a soft speaking person. Adjusting his microphones when recording or volume on recording equipment would help I do believe. My volume levels are maxed and my hearing is excellent. It's quiet in the house..except when the furnace kicks in, then I have to strain a bit to hear.

You may want to consider purchasing a wireless bluetooth speaker. I have found that to be so helpful.
I also have a harder time hearing these more recent homilies than previous ones of the same Father; he's speaking so softly in these.

Adjust your equalizer if you can't hear it clearly. Try different presets.
