I’d lived in Melbourne for 3 years and graduated from the Uni there. Ive always missed Melbourne and considered Melbourne as a home. I’ve tried so hard to reach to the point that people would recognize my accent where is it from and my heart has always pounded when people said “hey where do u study ur english it sounds australian “ or “ are u from here Australia?”. I do not mean that my english is great but i am so proud of how much i have achieved in speaking english. I couldn’t agree more with her that we want identity. I’d like people to recognize us and it makes us wanting to improve more. However, i like your channel a lot, i listen to your podcast again and again every night before sleep. Thank you for making such an incredible channel for all of us. I appreciate that ❤️
I watched your last video and I thought she's Australian but she isn't!! I'm so shocked haha. I wish I could be like her. I lived in Australia for a year. At the beginning I didn't even know how to order some food at restaurants but now I can talk to someone speaking English! And I've been watching your videos for over 1year. I met some good friends from other countries include Aussie😊 and I randomly met an American at pub in my country (Korea) and he detected my Aussie accent also he said my English is pretty good so I was really happy. I think my English improved thanks to you!:) my grammar is still bad tho haha. Thank you so much😊
She was my teacher at Langports. Milene is lovely and there's no way to say that she's Brazilian because of her accent. At least for me. When someone told me that she was Brazilian i had to try to speak in Portuguese with her by the time I was having classes with her. Unfortunately I only studied there for 3 months and had to get by with it.
Very hard to get Australian friends. I've been 2 years so far and I don't have a single one haha People stays together within their own community. It's the same issue across the world
