Amazing. I about killed myself sandblasting a 62 thunderbird undercarriage. Took at least six days with various parts of the car lifted on jack stands. Can't imagine how this removes the sprayed on undercoating yet leaves the original red primer.

Yes, that's what makes dry ice cleaning so effective.
It's very difficult to remove good paint with this process.
The combination of -119f ice temperature and expansion of it on impact contracts the undercoating enough to loosen the adhesion and blast it off!

Great result, but make the job easier and get the exhaust out since it's already cut

Nice result! Did you ever dry-iced a Mercedes W124 or a W126 with that PVC-Undercoating? That stuff is really nasty to get of by wire brush wheel or a scraper, takes forever. Is Dry-Ice capable of removing that? Marlon

Yes, I've done a number of old Mercedes Benz's and it removes
      the factory undercoating.
      I'm working on a 1962 Mercedes 190SL this week.
Should have the video posted soon.
      Thanks!

Math error. Caption says removing 62 year old undercoating. That would either make this 61 year old car or it time traveled to the year 2024.

Yes, the year of the car corrected to 1967 after the video was posted.
      Thanks

This was a fairly extensive job, it was around $2500 for complete cleaning, an average job is $1500 Thanks
