    Damn! This port selection is awesome.
    P.s. Do you have plans to test new galaxy tab s7 pen lag? They are using New 120hz panel and optimized latency. Interesting to see your tamc on it comparing it to ipad pro pen input latency.

      I am not sure about that review as I don't have access to the device yet (they say Fall 2020) but that Tab S7 specs got me really interested. We will see once the release date is closer

    PLEASE GUIDE. Saw your 3 years old video Huion h640P review and you said there that you will upload Zbrush with that Pen Tab.
    Want to know about features like Zoom in and out and another Shortcut you can use with that Tablet. Thank you for making useful video.

      Hey sorry I didn't have much time to make those Zbrush sculpting videos with this tablet. At the end I didn't even use those shortcut buttons, I guess I am too accustomed to using the keyboard with the left hand that I didn't need those buttons. Even zooming with just keyboard keys along with pen gesture is still most convenient workflow for me. I don't sculpt much at all these days, so at this time I am not planning new sculpting videos soon

      @@Tech-Guy I got my answer. I just wanted to know how much that keys feel useful.
      I had an another question. Does this 60° pen tilt support helps in Zbrush?

    Hello
    Can you tell what's most use in 3ds max rendering CPU or GPU

    • @Tech-Guy
      @Tech-Guy  4 года назад +1

      I stopped using 3ds max about 2 years ago as it became a rubbish crashing twice per hour, but until then the CPU was more important and higher number of cores was better, but there are rendering engines like Redshift and Octane which are GPU and sooner or later you'll have to switch to GPU rendering as each generation of GPU doubles the performance where as CPU kind of hit the peek already and it is hard to scale. So you get 5x speed for the same price with GPU rendering. I think even Arnold that comes with latest max has GPU option, so I'd recommend getting one of the new RTX 3070 or 3080 cards and CPU can be some lower cost Ryzen or Threadripper.

    How is at playing DCS in VR?

    • @Tech-Guy
      @Tech-Guy  4 года назад +1

      I can try it, but even after years I didn't get over the VR motion sickness. By the way, Fallout4VR is the most demanding game for VR even with desktop RTX2080, and if this laptop can push it to Reverb's resolution of 2160x2160x2 it should be able to do any other game available today.

      @@Tech-Guy thanks for the reply. DCS has a free version that supports VR. Just wondering how it handles thermal throttleing and if it can keep up after 5 minutes of stress

      @@NatendoSwitch I'll try it in the next days. I wanted to do it now but it needs 74GB and I have 45 free, so I need to clean things up a bit

      @@NatendoSwitch I just checked. It is thermal throttling even with fans on max and cooling pad under the laptop. Always 5/6 cores are throttling. CPU drops to 2GHz and temps are 86-91C
