@@galinapopov909 dead shoes means they are very broken down from use. They will offer less support but give better articulation of the foot. It takes more strength to dance in dead shoes but can be dangerous.
I’ve never warmed to Somova’s dancing. I’m not saying anything about the quality of her dancing....I saw her in a Vaganova documentary and I didn’t like her personality at all. It shows how very subjective dance and the other arts are. There’s no rhyme or reason to preference!
