- In this video I install the kitchen and bathroom sinks in my bus and connect the wastes to my grey water tank.
I'm using Hepvo valves instead of traditional waste traps.

great job! Those low profile valves are a fantastic idea.
And your skills just keep on multiplying... 😅. Love your work and your "get up and go " !!!!!!
Awesome work as usual...
Great video. It wasn’t easy by any means, but you did it. I cracked up over you swearing at the hose, as I can relate. Great job!
When are u doing the fresh water?
I did the fresh water plumbing a few weeks ago. Here is the video for that: ruclips.net/video/-2vfkstm40Q/видео.html
I understand what youre trying to acheive, but im reasonably confident that your gray water tank isnt going to fill. You will need to have separate fill and empty points: fill from the top, empty from the bottom. Im happy to be proven wrong, though.
I mean, the tank itself will fill to the top of the hose you've fitted across the tank, then the pipework leading to the tank will collect the rest. With a washing machine installed, that will likely mean the water won't flow down the drain, or you'll split hoses.
I have tested it by pouring 60L of water into the sink and it does fill the tank. When the tank is full, there will also be water in the pipes under the bus up to floor level, which is level with the top of the tank, as water always finds its own level . The only thing to note is that when the tank gets to about 2/3-3/4 full the sink starts to take a little longer to drain, due to the increased pressure slowing the flow, but it does still drain just fine. I won't be running water from the washing machine into the tank because one normal cycle would fill the whole tank on its own so I would only use the washing machine when I am at a campground where I can attach my hose to the tank outlet and run the water onto the ground, so the water from the washing machine would be running straight down past the tank and out the hose anyway.
I can always put another hole in the top of the tank and modify my plumbing if it turns out to be a problem when I'm on the road but I think it will work just fine.
Did you pour the water then knock on the tank and it sound full, or did you just pour the water down? You might find that the pipe work is taking up the slack, although I can't imagine it in this case.
Nice job. I think you've dodged a bullet, then. :)
There is no way my pipes can hold 60! And as I poured the last bucketful in I saw the water come up my breather hose. That could only fill with water if the water level reached the top of the tank so my tank was definitely full.
