I actually felt bad for him in this au. No kid deserves to be abused. Like a wise man says "Every child deserves a parent but not all parent deserves a child". Still, sad past doesn't excuse bad actions.

Well, maybe Scourge thought pain equals power which made him the jerk that he is. Few kids, despite not liking them, take some negative attitude from their parents.

@@orphaomega245 that’s what I was thinking, because, to be real, villains are just victims who’s stories haven’t been told yet. Most of them have abusive and traumatising backstories. And, they grow up to believe they can have power if they’re stronger then others, and prove that by being a bully. Yes, this doesn’t entirely excuse his actions, as he has a new father who loves and cares for him, but in part, it does. Because, although he has a new father who comforts him, he still grew up with an abusive mother and you cannot get rid of trauma like that or what you believe in very quickly. So, I think he would’ve been nicer if he had gotten some therapy.
Scourge didn't deserve to be treated like that by him mom. I'm glad that he has a new dad in the AU
definitely even though scourge is known as a villain (basically) this au of his backstory as a kid made my heart melt, his mom got all violent because his dad died at a young age, so sad to see this happen even if the characters arent real, no child deserves to be abused, good backstory and video! 💚🦔
And it also explins why he is the way he is, hes a bully cause its pretty much all he knows cause of his sad excuse of a mother
I mean tbh wouldn't scourge also canonly have abusive parents since he comes from a world that is opposite to sonic's?
