- In honor of Infinity War coming out, I made one last giant MCU timeline video, including everything from the movies to the TV shows to the short films. This is easily the biggest project I’ve ever worked on, so I really hope you enjoy!

One thing....not the nitpicky stuff (ie that Skye was the name she gave herself, the orphanage called her Mary Sue Poots), but for future reference, Jessica was lying when she claimed that she was hired to watch Luke, the husband had no idea. Jessica was watching him because she felt bad about killing Reva.

He destroyed the people living on it and then barely survived for centuries by gobbling up the people the cult send through until he could take over Wards body and managing going back to earth.

I am 52 years old and have been collecting and reading marvel comics since I was 13 years old , you nailed 95 percent in your presentation video , I am very much impressed , good job , movies don't really explain the amount of years reading comics in just a few hours. thank you your hard work.

I smile and this makes me think of Kevin Smith's channel. He cops to it himself that calling it a "review" is absurd, he just stands there on camera enthusiastically describing the plot of the entire movie hahaa... for End Game it lasted almost AN HOUR AND A HALF, and I've watched it all not once but twice already (both after having properly seen the flick myself)

So, I woke up at around 4:30am and walked to the living room to see my son passed out on the couch with this video playing on my Xbox. It grabbed my attention and it was at the 2 hour mark or around it. So, after grabbing a mountain dew and my smokes, I decided to start it from the beginning and watch the whole thing.
First off, great job! I too feel in love with comic books and their fantastical world at a very early age (not as early as gaming though...been a gamer since it started). So I really enjoyed seeing someone piece together everything that we have seen over the years and put it in the correct order. To some "movie fans" these are individual stand alone stories. For instance, my wife really didn't care about the Marvel Universe until she came across Guardians of the Galaxy. After that she found Thor (at which point she started looking at me as a boy child rather than the man that Thor is...thanks Marvel/Chris). Now, she's a huge fan and, thanks to Marvel, has discovered much more that she likes (Deadpool).
Not only did you do a good job at putting it together but you did a great job of explaining it. Your humor helped out quite a bit as well. Found myself laughing quite a few times from things you said.
Anyways, thanks for doing this from an old gaming dad (Old Man Spetz on Xbox). I'm going to suggest my wife give this a watch and see if I can drag her deeper into this amazing world of ours.

Watched this during Covid over several sessions on the treadmill and am so blown away by the magnitude of this timeline. I’ve only watched the films (about 5 times each) so this filled in a few gaps. Phenomenal effort. Thank you!!!

Not really, because nothing in the MCU is ever released in chronological order. They stick bits and pieces of the information all over the place out of order. Case in point would be the Captain Marvel movie that came out around the Infinity War Movie, but was set 20-30 years before that in the timeline.

Sweet son! I am sixty-three years old and have been a Marvel/Stan Lee-Jack Kirby fan well, since day one, pretty much. Alas and alack, my mind is beginning to slip a bit. I am familiar with all of the early characters origins, Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Fantastic Four, Spidey, etc. So I was fairly nonplussed when the films began the long and convoluted road on which they now travel and a lot of what I knew from reading the original stories had changed. I understood why it was done, I just didn't know how it all ties in. Thanks to your most excellent work and diligence, not to mention the extreme amount of patience you must have, you have made the path clear and palpable for me. At my age anything clear and palpable is pure treasure. Keep up the great work, you will go far. Excelsior!

The going price at the time was twelve cents a copy with the bonus issues and spectaculars coming in at a ludicrous sum of twenty-five cents per issue, right? The events of Iron Man take place in 2008. In Captain America: Civil War, Vision says that Tony Stark announced himself as Iron Man 'eight years' before, and Civil War takes place in 2016. The events of Thor took place in 2011, and Nick Fury, in The Avengers (2012), said Thor and the Destroyer fought 'last year', and Tony Stark says in Avengers: Infinity War that Thanos has been in his head for 'six years', and according to the MCU Wiki, Infinity War takes place in 2018, therefore, The Avengers takes place in 2012, Thor takes place in 2011, Iron Man takes place in 2008. I appreciate that mistakes like these are inevitable, and I don't expect you to go back and correct these errors, but I felt compelled to make this point because I'm a picky bastard like that. I really like the purpose of this video, but I'm afraid that this is one of the very few shortcomings of this video.
P.S. In Spiderman: Homecoming, the time passed between the aftermath of the Battle of New York and the events of the film is less than what the film claims. This is an error acknowledged by the director and Kevin Feige himself.

Iron Man 1 and 2 are 6 months apart and Iron Man 2 and Thor happen in the same week soooo your dates don't work at all.
The wiki is wrong. Infinity War has to take place in 2020, because it's two years after Civil War. Civil War has to take place in 2018, because it's eight years after Iron Man. Iron Man is six months before Iron Man 2, so it's (at the earliest) 2010, because Iron Man 2 is in 2011, because that happens at the same time as Thor which is one year before Avengers, which takes place in 2012. Now, it's possible that Iron Man is also in 2011, putting Civil War in 2019, except that Ross says that the Avengers have been operating for four year. I don't think that refers to the Battle of New York. After that, they disbanded until they were needed again. After Winter Soldier (which takes place in 2014), they reunited to take down Hydra, and after Ultron they continued Avenging, so that's a continuous four years. This puts Ultron in 2017, and Civil War in 2018.
bro Marvel released an official timeline, the script makers got that part wrong when vision said "in the 8 years that mr. stark announced himself as iron man" because the events of iron man 1 took place in 2010, the script makers definitely messed that line up because he's meant to say "in the 6 years mr. stark announced himself as iron man", they made a mistake, whatever, but just letting you know, because the events of civil war happens in 2016 same as the events of homecoming, infinity war takes place in 2017, because in endgame when it says 5 years later it's now 2023, so yeah, in spider-man homecoming the russo brothers confirmed that the 8 years later part was wrong and that mistake was their fault because the battle of new york took place in 2012, so it was meant to say 4 years later as again the events homecoming took place in 2016, what vision said in civil war was nothing but a script error, it was always meant to say 6 years, not 8, but everybody makes mistakes even the directors and script makers of the most biggest films of the decade.

2012: The Avengers, Iron Man 3
2013: Thor: The Dark World

2016: Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming
2016 through to 2017: Doctor Strange
2017: Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War
Just now came across this, and there were a few details that were off(Not the ones you pointed out), but ultimately this entire thing was pretty good. I watched all 3 hours of it in 1 setting.

Valkyrie wasn't just a drunk when Thor first runs into her. She was a literal slave trader. She captured Thor and then sold him into slavery. New Asgard is being ruled by an actual slave trader. I just can't understand how no one has a problem with this.

Well, one thing this pandemic let me do is let me watch this whole thing in one session. I'm sorry you had to take several for the team, like watching Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. I couldn't deal with all the boring fluff in the Netflix portion of MCU. So, thank you for the great summary and saving me some of the agony of watching Agents of SHIELD and portions of the Punisher. I did like that epic fight scene in DD. Fantastic walk-through, you really did a great job and don't mind any of the haters. Cheers

@@victormaldonado3934 Agents of Shield came up with so much filler material by season 6, it was annoying. You can fast forward through most of it. Yo-yo, Fitz, Shaw, and others got really annoying. Coulson, May, Quake, and Jemma were worth watching and GR. It had mediocre continuity, bad special effects, creature feature, limited humor, 80s-like heroes, with too little about what else was going on at the same time in MCU because SHIELD was aware of a ton of events. And I'm not spelling it out all the ".".
Jessica jones season 1 is amazing but people hate it just because there's no action and "iT's BoRiNg"

This was absolutely amazing! And really did a very thorough job of including all the side shows that shows how they kind of fit in while also kinda do their own thing, but then it all explains why certain people are missing from other storylines. Thanks so much for this!

Thank you for sharing. I stopped watching or never watched any of the television series (hung with Agent Colson and the gang for a long time) so it was nice to see how things wrapped up. Watched all the movies except one of the Spidey films (not really a fan). You did an amazing job. It was to the point and easy to follow. ❤

Hey man, I get you don’t wanna do anymore of these since they will only get longer and longer but we would sure love to see more so how bout this when a couple of new movies come out you do like an add on video so that it’s not 2hours+ like u just recap the events of the newer movies and tv shows and explain where it fits in the timeline with reference to this video so we as the audience can slot it in ourselves

Super impressive! Thanks for doing this. I love the continuity aspect that they have maintained (regardless of a couple minor exceptions). I mean, the fact that this exists is so awesome, & even cooler that you put this together with clips & pics in order. It would be cool if Disney + or whoever would make an actual timeline option where we could watch everything from the beginning in order. Wishful thinking anyway...
