- If like my Porsche, the roof stopped working, this Microswitch is most likely what broke. It’s a very common issue on Boxsters that can cause huge issues but can be corrected with a very easy fix as shown here.
Good job! My roof is totally manual now, no more broken plastic rod tips and no mechanical problems. Aloha from Hawaii 2006 boxster s!

When closing your roof if it doesn't go up 100% and you still see some daylight it's better to cup your fingers inside
one of those oval shaped helpers and pull forward an inch or so which will take the pressure of the latch assembly.
I don't have a convertible or a Boxster. But it's an interesting video.

Ah. So that was a previous owners aerosol job after spilling brake cleaner on the wing by accident. It’s one thing I’m going to have done on the car but in time as it’s not bothering me, nor is it a showpiece example
What is the spec of the front bumper? Is it aftermarket?
No, it’s genuine Porsche. It’s the original aerokit for the 986. It does scare the living hell out of me because of the value of it alone

@@_financial_regret_ Well I think adding air cups in the front axel can help you gain a little more ground clearance whenever you needed and make your drive easy in day to day basis.
