Why did HT make the body suit look like a California raisin?? The movie suit was smooth. Oh I know so they have room to improve for the 3.0 in a few years.

Why have you've been measuring for over a month? The base (deluxe) is 44cm in height. I know for sure it wont fit my detolf. At least with the gargoyle :)
@@t_claassen I'm using a bookshelf for my display. The height isnt the problem. I'm more concerned about the width cause it will be next to battison and bale
I'm an OG collector that's had the DX 09 since release over 12 years ago. I'm happy with it but I'm also happy to get a 2024 version of Michael Keaton Batman into the collection. That cathedral diorama is amazing. I can't wait
Looks good in museum poses, but I wish Hot Toys would try making a solid silicone body for a Batman, like a phicen but sculpted to be the suit. Then there would be no huge wrinkles when you posed the figure.
@@thrasher2753I agree with you with regards to HT messing this figure up and not listening to the collectors which I think they should but by not listening to the collectors they are shooting themselves in the foot for no one is going to buy them for I know I'm not and yet I have been waiting years for the 89 Batman to be released once more for I bought the first Hot Toys 89 Batman years ago when it first came out and was hoping that they would release it again without the compartment on the back of the head for the one I bought years ago looked more like the movie costume but this new one doesn't.

I do not understand why some of the more recent figures of this year are STILL on waitlist. When in the hell is it going to be able to be purchased? The black Adam figure that released this past February is STILL on waitlist. Can anybody provide me answers? I’m struggling to find u.s listing on eBay for the clone wars obi wan and I’m going to have an even harder time finding a u.s listing for bane 2.0 when he releases because for some ungodly reason he got delayed and I plan on getting him for Christmas. I want answers please 🙏
If a figure is waitlisted it most likely will never be listed in stock again. Your only option to guarantee a figure is pre order when it’s still available. Otherwise you can try being on the waitlist and hope someone cancels, look at other sites that might still have what your looking for, or look on the secondary market and pay more.

Google 1989 batman suit close up. Someone insane in HT added this texture after prototype was shown. I can change the faceplate, but I don't have an idea on how to fix the whole suit. It's like Vader figure with Kylo head or something
@@cultureministerYou could cover the suit with the cape or use the figure permanently displayed in the batmobile. Yeah, third party face plates are being made right now for this figure. I may sculpt my own because Keaton's likeness is easy to do.
Look at all Keaton pics in the cowl side by side with the DX-09. Then do the same with the 2.0 side by side. If you can't see it, then you can't be helped.
@@yellow1996ta I don’t think the original DX09 will lose value because of the 2.0. There are obvious differences in each figure. Either for the better, or for worse. Also, a lot of people can’t afford the aftermarket prices of the original release. For example the DX13 Terminator 2 which is also going to be getting another release along with Predator, and Batman Returns 2.0. Hot Toys is a business and at the end of the day they are in it to make money off of their most profitable licenses.

That suit texture and fail on the face plate likeness is unforgivable, considering it was nailed on the DX09
