Interesting concept. Still runs into a lot of the pitfalls that the main engine has. Would recommend having BT12 Shoutmon King Mode to freeplay the Yuus on DigiXros or evo, and we do have the SkullKnight Promo coming soon. Also ST15 Matt can basically be a memory setter to 4 instead of 3 with Kurata so its worth running over the flexibility of bringing back a piece with old Matt.
Is that Elixar in my comments?! That's a welcome surprise! And yeah, I was messing around with the Hunters Damemon and Shoutmon King for a bit. Probably worth trying again alongside the Hunters Yuu. Honestly, this list will just be so much better when we get the new Damemon and SK promo like you mentioned. Will try out the new ST Matt too. Alongside the Bagra cards, Yuu, and Kurata, there are plenty of opportunities to steal the turn away.
Love this deck profile! I actually built the og belphe and was sad when the scatter modes got restricted! Then I built Bagra and found it was super clunky. And now I found a perfect medium! I love the idea to slam a lvl 4 for free with Yuu, then digivolve for 3 into Asta and then by deleting another mon to draw more cards and gain more memory to slam down any Belphemon for free! Can't wait for the updated list now that BT14 is out! I've already added the new damemon as it synergizes well and is mostly used in the form of removal but also giving a Belphemon sleep mode blocker! Anyways thanks for making this video!
BT14 was such a buff to this niche build thanks to Damemon and SkullKnightmon promo. You set up Yuu so much easier now, and blocker is clutch in the Belphemon stack if you can set it up properly. Also love that you can actually run Lilithmon properly, since she'll set up your trash, and can either block or threaten sec atk +1 now, which sets things up nicely for Belphemon to clean up the game. My only wish is that we'd get more actual DigiXros targets, since it is still hard to thin your hand down in order for Belphy to really pop off.
@@kevinski-tcg Yeahhh! I tried Monimon egg as a fifth and it didn't do justice haha I find I'm drawing so much cards and can't get rid of them quick enough! I feel like the SkullKnightmon promo is impossible to find. Might look into more draw/trash effects.. I know I've seen in a Bagra List running Mist Memory Boost. I decided to take out the Lucifer combo just because I don't have the Lucifer and decided to swap the dead or alive for 2 damemon. Actually also added Buzzing fist which is nice if you hit Belphe's they get trashed and if you hit a bagra then you can tuck under Yuu to draw/and make Buzzing fist cost 1. I tried night raid but it was too clunky with not having enough trash. I wish the rookies trashed the rest instead of putting bottom D:, I might try Dracmon in the fenri deck cause I believe that trashes everything... But then it doesn't have save... So it's kinda awkward haha. Anyways I've ordered my Lillithmons, Can't wait to tryout the real deal!
Lucemon is definitely cuttable, especially with the newer cards. NGL, I had him there mostly because I loved the Demon Lord theme and he was JUST viable enough lol. SkullKnightmon promo is tough to get right now, but luckily it's not mandatory. If you can't find him, just increase your Purple tamer count generally so you can start saving your Bagra & Hunter Digimon. Ryoma from BT12 is a nice choice since he can recur your materials from the trash, and lets you evolve on the cheap. Don't sweat Mist Memory Boost or any non-save Rookies to try and trash more. DemiMeramon and Kurata should get the job done. Belphemon is your win condition, but you do have enough tools most of the time to stall until you get set up. And of course, you don't need him to get his buff to win. You still get to swing twice and blow up the board, so you can play to grind them down with Belphemon instead. Omnimon Zwart is also an option, since you can get to him quickly, he'll trash some cards, and you can potentially summon back Astamon and a tribute to bring Belphemon right back, or bring back some DigiXros targets to dump your hand. @@ShieldedLoL
Definitely going to give something like this a go! My bagra army deck has been gathering dust and my belphemon deck is affected by the banist, so it's definitely worth a shot. Thanks for the video.
It's definitely worth a try. There's lots of flexibility too. Lilithmon and Lucemon can definitely be cut for a couple of Tactimons or other pieces. You can run Astral Snatcher too, which is fun when you tuck something under a little guy and then Belphemon blows it up.
So I tried to really interesting build that I heard about and have been trying to make it work for a while, even though bhagra isn't very good, and has still become one of my favorite decks to play casually. If I recall correctly it was from card game protagonist. The whole deck revolves around using Kaiser nail, since there are a few cards that allow you to use any purple Digimon as an evolution Source or taking them under a tamer, Ex Mad Leo, soundbirddra, and by using Yuu’s effect you could talk those high-level Digimon under any Evolution source and bring them out with Kaiser nail, essentially getting them out for free and sometimes on your opponent's turn if they swing at security. This means that you could get out Tacticimon and darkness bhagra for only 4 cost while still getting their powerful on play effects. And since you could do it with any purple Digimon as long as it was a source, I was experimenting with different powerful cards such as piemon from BT1/2, Anubismon and some other cards. You could also do this with Belphamon, since sleep mode does have a on-play effect. Not to mention if you really wanted to you could put a source under any one of them still using Yuu’s effect if you had another copy or haven't used that tamer ability that turn, to put at least one Evolution source or as many as you needed to activate their ability on your opponent's turn since they are still being “played” even though the cost reduction does not matter at all, this is important fact that should not be forgotten especially in tight situations. The only real downside is that you have to run a blue tamer in order for you to get the full deck online. And that if you're running against anybody who's running death X-Mon you kind of lost right away. While oddly enough having a really high skills healing to play as optimally as possible because you have to account for different scenarios. I think it also could still have some relevance and could probably be updated whenever the new Anubis drops. Which I'm still experimenting with.
The Kaiser Nail build is wild. Making your big guys appear out of nowhere can really swing the game. Kiriha seems like the best option as your blue source for now, but I do wish there was an easier way to get the blue source consistently. Maybe promo SkullKnightmon will make this build better thanks to it free playing Kiriha & Nene.
@@kevinski-tcg I just wish that there was a purple and blue tamer that had a decent ability that way I didn't have to worry about it so much. Or even one that just had Yuu’s name. Maybe with promo skullknight he would probably be the best bet if you ran Kiriha Aonuma & Nene Amano. Currently the build runs Kiyoshiro as the blue tamer, just for the memory setter and sometimes the draw one can be relevant. But it definitely has a lot of explosive potential, since you can swarm the board and pressure for game the following turn.
Fantastic video. I would think you would run Tactimon instead of Lilithmon due how poor Bagra Army defense is during the mid-late game but Lilithmon also works for recurring materials.
I definitely need to try Tactimon again once BT14 Damemon and Promo SkullKnightmon are in the mix. Those are two very good bodies to turn into blockers.

Yeah, he can't reduce the play cost. What he can do is let you crash some Bagra Army cards, save them, and help you pass over less memory when you slam Astamon or Sleep Mode. He's really great at giving your opponent very little memory to respond to the Belphemon play.
