Dude well done! Some of the newer bosses are so hard that making one mistake can easily result in a chain of events that can chew down your hp 75%, just for making one mistake.
There are for sure some tricky ones. I prefer the bosses to be more and more difficult as the Acts progress personally, so it was nice to see that the "final boss" really felt like a true Final Boss.
@@terribletimmy2 I agree with you that there needs to be progression in difficulty. But it should not be the case a boss is so hard only a handful of people can do it. Instead keep it interesting by having mechanics.
Great guide, me and my duo have had a pretty easy time with all the bosses but have been having issues with this boss. We have done a lot of runs and just cant kill him in his last phase. Appreciate this!
It's extremely difficult. Don't give up though! If I was doing this with a Duo, I would have both run Slashers, and have 1 take the primary Aggro while the other is dealing with the lasers. If he jumps on the person breaking the lasers, that person E's with slashers. Once the primary gets to around half HP, swap out if possible.
Well done, only just managed to defeat him yesterday night as a duo. Mainly played with Crossbow & Reaper along with Chaos Volley, Ward of the Damned (Heal on ranged hit), Veil of Chaos (increased elude). His basic attack is much like Gorecrusher where you can strafe left then right, then choose to either move back to use your counter, or move next to him. You can dodge the grab by going towards him and strafing right, avoiding his grabbing arm. Use the time where he puts up his lightning barrier to kill a generator. The balls of lightning that he leaves on the ground pulses in a pattern, going outward from where he stood when he spawned them. Standing in these also shock you. He also has an impale charge when less than half hp. You can use his phase 2 (lightning arm) transition to either swap spells or kill generators. His basic attack in phase 2 gets replaced by 2 sideways swipes, dash behind you and then shockwave(almost like Styx, just faster). Looking forward to an updated base layout video.
Congrats on defeating him, epic boss fight !! I tried a lot of variations and pistols for first phase are insane. You can q after every third ground slam attack and the boss is literally melting. Combined with spectral wolf (can aim at lasers and still hit the boss) and chaos volley i had him down in like 4 min. You only need slashers for phase 2 to dodge the sky laser and sky jump imo
I think what really made you win was the other buff you used... You had dinner! I need to know so I can buff myself irl before the fight! GG's cool to see how you did it!
Sometimes, stepping away from a fight for a while can let all of what you've learned sink in so that when you re-approach the situation, you're not just acting in the moment, your acting with a revised strategy.
For progression, it's a mix between Axes and Reaper. Reaper does tons of damage with E, and keeps you very safe, especially when the boss gets knocked back from Q. Axes on the other hand have very long range burst with E, and the Q allows you to have a second "dash" by using it to move around and dodge when needed. This fight was very tricky for me since neither of those things are very valuable when he just immediately closes any space that you create with him, and Axe Q to dodge is not good enough when he does such massive AOEs, which is why I went Slashers
I learned from a Korean player that the easiest strategy for dealing with Adam solo is to break all the tesla coils surrounding the arena at the start of the fight and continue disabling the generators whenever he reactivates one. Tried it myself (veil of chaos, sanguine coil and chaos bolts with 68% scholar blood and slashers) and it worked like a charm; no beams = more room to dodge the random lightning bolts and mines. Managed to juke almost all of Adam's teleport attacks with veil of chaos as well.
Adam is such a large difficulty spike compared to every other boss in the game. It was a bit jarring going from some bosses requiring a few attempts to this one taking me hours and farming breaks between attempts just to repair equipment and get more blood.
For sure. I was honestly worried at first how long he would take me haha, but eventually he started to make more sense. Now I'm in a spot where I'm going to try and find additional spots to get more DPS out to down him faster. I tend to hold E at all times for when I "need" it, but in reality, I should be doing things like Pistol/Greatsword/Axe/Reaper Es etc for more damage
I recommend combing weapons as well, lots of movements you can use a Greatsword E to , you can also buffer your dash by just holding it when it's on cooldown
This fight was so bad for me. I tried so many times before giving up. Literally hours just dying in his second phase. Wish I was good like u. Might try again later, this video gave me hope 😂
This boss keeps canceling all my animations. It's so obnoxious I just cant.... he cancels shields, i frames, dashes of all kind with his knockback spam, this needs to fixed. No fun at all. I spam my buttons before he hit but he still hits 3 times in a row and for some reason the skills don't go off and suddenly you lost 50% hp. it happens insanely often with this boss.
Definitely tricky. I ran into a lot of animation cancels as well at first. The trick seems to be to not try and frame-perfect (or even get close to perfect) your moves. It means you have to react faster, which can be hard, but ultimately that worked for me. Keep at it!
well played, definitely a much better player than me. Took me 3 hours to kill him with brute/pistols and sanguine coil/zombie shield and I switched out zombie shield for blood rage in p2. So satisfying to kill him though :D
The bizarre and weird interactions you were having were because of the slashers E, you becoming invisible and they deaggro, but the boss should heal after deaggroing, if you're quick you can then have him low hp and reset
It was likely a combination of Bloodrite invis + slasher invis. I've done it multiple times now though and that is the only time he reset. Very likely not intended.
Without crafting specific ones, I would say the containers all throughout silverlight, specifically brighthaven and the area surrounding it. Containers have a decent chance of having jewels, so the more you open the more chance you have, and brighthaven has tons of houses with containers
This fight p!ssed me off more than the Wanderer in the Cursed Forest. Entirely too much knockback, stun, and interrupting the player. Even the reaper's E would be constantly interrupted before I could actually get the "cast" of that off. I found the Solarus fight to be very cool. Adam feels just horribly designed.
I think the hardest thing about doing this fight solo is the fact that he acts so fast, and has so many aoe moves, that it basically REQUIRES using slashers just for the extra abilities that give you invincibility frames.
@@ProgectG Can't disagree with your assessment on that. It's part of why I consider this fight to be poorly designed. It's like they designed this cool weapon but didn't think players would like it enough to actually use it so they designed a fight around it's abilities. Not saying that's what actually happened in the thought process, just that it feels that way.
I didn`t end the video because I want to see his death with my own eyes in game... but, I have to say that your video take my hope and broke it... I already fight him like 10 times and come to youtube to see some combination of skills to take him, and whe I saw that he will reborn after you defeat him... fu.k man, I just take a half of health of him until now, and now you tell me that he comeback?... oh man, ten times is nothing... I will going to defeat me in the 50th time maybe?

Glad you enjoyed it
The video I’ve been waiting for, this guy is so freaking hard
He's insane! Easily my fav fight in the game now, specifically because it's just SO hard, but when you do it, it's a fantastic feeling.

Dinner was homemade burgers btw. Very tasty
Love these vids, do you have a favorite/preferred weapon or do you always change it up depending on boss?
I think he's said in other videos that in general axes are (or were pre-gloomrot) his favorite Go-to weapons.
For progression, it's a mix between Axes and Reaper.

Yeah in my recent experience, pistols is the way to go. Also, opening just 3 of the coils is still tons of space.
been bashing my head against an "Adam the Firstborn" shaped wall for the past few days. i shall try exactly this. thank you sir!

Did anybody else notice at 13:24, for a split second there is a prompt to drain his blood when he's going from p1 to p2.
Thought it was kinda funny.
Would be crazy if you could snag that prompt and suck him lol
I recommend combing weapons as well, lots of movements you can use a Greatsword E to , you can also buffer your dash by just holding it when it's on cooldown
Same as any other ability.. in combat in general if you get stunned or smth.. hold down what you want to use
Amazing. Congratulations.

whats the best way to farm the ability gems?

Would EMP help maybe as a pre set up
Nope. Can't put down EMPs in the fighting area. I tried. It just flat won't let you.
I used the same strategy as with all other bosses. VERY aggressive gameplay and always try to get on his back
How do you get that white cape ?
Best way to get rare capes is looting gold chests. You get them for the Gear tier of the zone (you won't get a t3 cloak in farbane)
@@terribletimmy2 So its just random?
@@dterror3679 yes it is random
