Hey Wes, this is Robert with Coastal GX down in South Padre Island. Glad I found your channel. Looking forward to representing RhinoUSA in my neck of the woods!
I love how as soon as people get stuck the throttle becomes an on/off switch, full throttle or nothing. Throttle control is huge! Just ease into it so you don't dig yourself a hole right off the bat.
I really like the cases in which you instructed them how to drive out of the "stuck" situation. Most people I've seen stuck down there just need a little education.
That’s amazing you help others for free I have lived in Houston Texas for 10 years now I’ve rented two Kia sedans for trips to south padre and drove for miles on the beach it’s lovely I had to go about 55 mph to get through a section once
Hi Wes! I’m new to your channel and I just wanted to express how educational your videos are. I have 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JLU that I’ve owned for 2 yrs and recently drove from San Antonio, TX to Portland, OR this past Feb. to March 2024. Me and my daughter took a trip to the coast. Little did I know we were blasted with some heavy snow in the mountains in Tillamook National forest. I’ve nvr driven in snow in my life but your videos saved us! To prep myself I made sure I was ready for cold/wet snowy conditions and those vids you posted in snow did it for me. I did my 1st recovery to help a few folks stuck in the snow blocking the main road into the mountains. So great full I used your techniques. We go to Port Aransas and Rockport a lot and see a lot of ppl stuck in the sand. All I can say is I now need to invest in the Kinetic rope vs using chains. (Even though the chains is what helped me out in OR lol!) Anyway, I just had to share that bit of experience I had because I owe it all to YOU and ur vids! Hands down to ya and keep creating more vids!
I’m glad to see others doing the same thing I would do here in Corpus Christi. It always made my day to help out a stranger and I was so proud of my 80 series Land Cruiser. Kinda been a hermit for a while so haven’t been out to the island for a while. These are great videos to learn from. The last group I helped were a family from England. It made me proud to be a Texan.
So great to view helping people got stuck their cars and giving good instructions where to position their wheels.. More power to you good men and God Bless.. viewing from Bohol, Philippines
I've watched a bunch of videos and find them entertaining. It's cool that you do this for free and these folks are lucky to come across your kindness. I think some recovery boards would be a great addition to your arsenal! 1 or 2 pair. Cheers to move fun videos
Wes you guys are good at what you do that is for sure. I think it is great that you all work as a team there and you support local guys is a great thing
Just discovered your channel, and I love it. I am in South west Florida and unfortunately we cannot drive on our beaches, otherwise I would be doing the same thing. Beautiful thing you guys are doing.
never go to beach mostly stay home and around the red clay mud but pick up a lot of pointers about how to drive in the sand so if i ever do go to beach have a general idea of how to drive there thanks for taking the time to post these videos helpful for so many like me i signed up for recoveries in my area but so far haven't been contacted to help but try to stay ready when the time comes thanks again
Wes, Great job helping all those people, I’ll be kind here, people with no common sense!!! Driving there vehicles in sand ?!? Anyway your the man, thank the good lord!! God made a man like you 😀👍🏻 also Wes, Great Job 👏🏻 explaining the recovery gear used and we’re he was placing the shackles on vehicles with no tow hooks 🪝 God Bless
Got a tip for you when you have them fender wall vehicles use the shackle where the hitch is... Go underneath your vehicle feed your strap behind your rear axles then hook to vehicle your pulling it saves the fender wall and helps lift the car up when your helping them get unstuck
out at mustang island last year and me and my son pulled out 5 cars just driving a 5 mile radius. If i lived out here i would def drive around holiday weekends helping people out. some of these people have no idea being that far in...a mini van??? comn.. 40 bucks il get you back to the road so you can go home..... lol
I have a new Rebel with all bells and whistles, including the Ram "recovery" package... I opened it and it consists of a 3" strap.... Knowing I'm going to be beach camping and overlanding, this video has me compiling a wish list of essential gear I need to either get unstuck, or help others in need. Thanks!!
This is great. I live in Houston and go down to Galveston quite often. It's the same out here. I have no idea why these people think their normal cars are good on the sand.😅 They need to thank God Texas people are so friendly.😂
We went with my wife to Padre island on our semi, let me tell you guys those sands are deceiving, parked ok, but when I went and pulled out even with my differentials locked, still it gave me a little spin, wheeeeww that was a closed one 😅
Hi great videos I watch them all. I am a bit confused though, you say that all your recoveries are free but then say this is what u do for a living. Could u explain a bit. Is it from selling the related gear that u make money off or is it from RUclips ads and the like. Keep the videos coming. If you are in the area come to Villano Beach near St Augustine. There is a little known island called Porpoise Point that you can drive on. People always getting stuck on a big weekend.
Hey I'm just out on my backyard messing with my new straps and kinetic rope from Rhino USA and was wondering if it would be alright just to loop the straps and rope together without using any shackles? Or do you think they'd get too tight and not be able to get them apart after a recovery?
Nice video , wish I could pull cars out of the sand , live up here by Buffalo Bills stadium and I pull cars out for free w/ my Jeep Wrangler or Chevy Silverado . Wrangler's got a winch which helps but it's so cold .... when I'm looking for a place under their vehicle to hook up to. Pull out for free cause maybe I'll need to be pulled out some day . God bless you all
Lmao! There's more recovery guys out there than there are people driving around getting stuck!😂😂 Pretty soon the recovery guys will have to pay the people getting stuck to let them pull the stuck people out! I'm just goofing about plus I just took a Benadryl good night everyone!
Love watching this stuff in the hopes I’ll never need it. Curious that you do this for a living but don’t charge!? Are you sponsored by or in sales/promotions for Rhino USA?
Are people stupid now? I was at Padre Island for 3 months back in 2002 with a small Dodge Shadow vehicle and I never got stuck! I always avoided super soft spots and drove just near the waterline where the sand was sturdy and never had any problems. So these people drive much larger vehicles than I had and get stuck all the time?
These are my good people down here in Texas. Everybody out helping each other, no judgment, no belittling. That's those southern manners right there!
Hey Wes, this is Robert with Coastal GX down in South Padre Island. Glad I found your channel. Looking forward to representing RhinoUSA in my neck of the woods!
So great to see a whole crew of people helping folks! And that robot was too cool!!! Thanks for these videos Wes!!
I love how as soon as people get stuck the throttle becomes an on/off switch, full throttle or nothing. Throttle control is huge! Just ease into it so you don't dig yourself a hole right off the bat.
You guys rock. I've been camping N. Padre for almost 40 years and I've seen the tide take a few. Heartbreaking. All you recovery guys are great.
I really like the cases in which you instructed them how to drive out of the "stuck" situation. Most people I've seen stuck down there just need a little education.
Y’all do great work. Just a suggestion; when you need to get under their vehicle make all of them get out and have their vehicle off.
That’s amazing you help others for free I have lived in Houston Texas for 10 years now I’ve rented two Kia sedans for trips to south padre and drove for miles on the beach it’s lovely I had to go about 55 mph to get through a section once

You guys know what your doing how to handle sand I have a 4x4 Chevy it's good in mud but sand humbled it on day. God bless y'all.

Recently discovered your channel while researching recovery equipment for my new 4x4. Thanks for the great videos and instructions.
Wow, crazy beach!!! Can spend your life helping people! 😁

Thanks for the support 👍
Thanks for another excellent and entertaining video and for all you and the other volunteers do
Slow and steady works every time. 04 s10 ZR5, 200k+ . My little Burro loves the beach
Wow, they are stuck left and right there. Crazy. Great video!
Just discovered your channel, and I love it. I am in South west Florida and unfortunately we cannot drive on our beaches, otherwise I would be doing the same thing. Beautiful thing you guys are doing.

Thought I was watching Hulk Hogan for a moment there Brother!
Awesome job
Awesome video. Great helpers, and I appreciate the tips regarding using traction control
That’s awesome guys! human’s helping human’s that’s always a good thing! Kudos to y’all!

Awesome coaching with the scion appreciate the teaching
You guys are awesome. God bless you.
Nice job brother! Traction control is key👌🏽
Great tip on the tree saver!

Why are the 4 wheel drive trucks not in 4 wheel drive? A power wagon with lockers at both ends stuck and only back wheels spinning?????
Way to go Wes, you’re good will is rubbing off!
out at mustang island last year and me and my son pulled out 5 cars just driving a 5 mile radius. If i lived out here i would def drive around holiday weekends helping people out. some of these people have no idea being that far in...a mini van??? comn.. 40 bucks il get you back to the road so you can go home..... lol
Great job, experience goes a long way .kenetic ropes work awsome
Asome v8 sounds
Love ur videos man always waiting for a new upload
I don’t think that was a real power wagon at 26:55.
I have a new Rebel with all bells and whistles, including the Ram "recovery" package... I opened it and it consists of a 3" strap.... 23:06 slow down a little bit then dude puts it on the rev limiter 😂😂😂👍👍and robo 🐕 😮
We went with my wife to Padre island on our semi, let me tell you guys those sands are deceiving, parked ok, but when I went and pulled out even with my differentials locked, still it gave me a little spin, wheeeeww that was a closed one 😅
Nice Cleetus shades
I got stuck and some 4x4 truck saved me. Now i drive a 4x4 truck lol. Dont ever wanna get stuck at the beach again
A stock 4x4 pulling out a lifted 4x2 lol.
Why do people think 2wd vehicles are ok in the sand
You have more patience than i did. Most of the people are drunk when they are stuck. I refuse to help them.
IF you get a Power Wagon stuck on mediocre beach sand, you don't deserve to even own one...
It's funny you have to tell everyone to roll down their window so they can hear you.
good job guys
That 2wd Tundra should be embarrassed.
Great video as always/
I use a traction mat a towel or ramp I have to get un stuck even a board
Wonder what happened to the power wagon 4x4 not working
26:53 Why do people put 4x4 plaques and decals n the their two wheel drive truck?
I've seen multiple Vehicles stuck at one time I've pulled multiple Vehicles out one time too
I have a video on my channel doing a double pull
That’s fun. I don’t have that kind of rope. I have chains.
We’ll the stickers say power wagon on back of the truck but doesn’t look like it has four wheel drive.
Two wheel drive on the beach is a no go.
What brand tires , u running ? Looks great 👍🏻

I make money from RUclips and sponsorships
i have been going there for years. used to b u could drive all the way back to the beach side along the inlet.

Definitely need a shackle in the middle. They would be extremely difficult to separate after a good pull
@@4x4rescue74 that's what I thought too. Thanks for the reply man!

Excellent!
That flag with the fish as red lines oretty cool
Great job guys, a lot of this could be prevented if ppl just carried a 2x4 in the trunk lol
Hey Wes, great video as always! Do you know when Rhino will have ropes back in stock?
They’re on amazon right now
@@4x4rescue74 Thank you
1:29 the typical 2WD lift. Easy money all day.
And they keep on coming lol
So is there signs warning people they gonnabget stuck how much u charge and how many crews fighting dor towa first time watxhing
Lmao! There's more recovery guys out there than there are people driving around getting stuck!😂😂
Pretty soon the recovery guys will have to pay the people getting stuck to let them pull the stuck people out!
I'm just goofing about plus I just took a Benadryl good night everyone!
In general is there a maximum weight limit to not go over ? I'm thinking my e350 shuttle bus is too heavy? Thanks
Not at all, just air down low, keep your speed and try to stay on the hard pack
Are these people not airing down?
Nope, and not turning off traction control, bad combo for sure
what psi do yall run on your tires? i'm guessing nobody else aired down?
I would like to join the recovery groups. Send me a link if possible.
Deflate the tires, huge difference
Man common sense aint common
You like rhino USA stuff huh? I just started ordering it recently
Are ANY of these drivers dropping their tire pressures?
I’ve never been to the beaches in Corpus, but San Luis Pass down here in Galveston is pretty crazy at times.
Is the sand deep at San Luis Pass? I've got a 92 Bronco with 4wd but the front driveshaft fell off. Do you think I'd get stuck?
J hook on a kinetic is a recipe for disaster. You never know when that could slip off and go into the tailgate or back glass.
I prefer axle straps but some people still like j hooks
I need help the other night I was stuck real bad
How do some of them get driver license 😅
“I’m gonna lift my 2WD truck so that I can go through sand where 4x4’s go!” That’s how they think, I’m pretty sure. 🤦🏻♂️
Good reasons to subscribe
went there yesterday, sand was packed and solid, no action, no fun...
A mini van? White car?
What business do those vehicles have being on the beach?
The guy in the Tacoma TRD off road could of easily gotten out simply by putting it in crawl mode and or 4x4
16:00?? If so thats not an offroad 4x4. Just a 2wd sr5 basically
Some people think their vehicle is 4wd/AWD and it is not.
Others have a vehicle with 4wd, but do they even know how to engage it?
Love watching this stuff in the hopes I’ll never need it.
Curious that you do this for a living but don’t charge!?
Are you sponsored by or in sales/promotions for Rhino USA?
I don’t charge the customer but I make money from RUclips and other sponsorships.
If folks took directions they would get out a lot faster
Seeing people on the beach with a 2WD drives me insane
5lbs of air in your tires at the beach.. nothing more or I'll be on your channel lol
i cant feel right buying a 2 wheel drive truck ever
Curious How do y'all make money if you are pulling people out for free? Great video Thank you for helping people out.
