      @@BrayoFitnessTrainer Terrance Is improving fast. Noah Lyle's would be beaten or should I say predict, will be beaten. Too many sprinters at oasis him pockets or improve of him at this juncture. Trayvon Brummel is back & just dusted him recently by a big margin. Lyle's was too preoccupied with being the heir apparent to Usain Bolt & though he had the baton. He kept talking about that phenomenal record of 9.58/19.19 rather that trying to beat Justin Gatlin, Tyson Gay's, & Yohan Blake's time. Way too premature. Not he had lost ground & in sprints that's hard to recapture. I predict he will not the Olympic 100m or 200m. Laird looks better & Brommell also.

      @@noelsmythe7391 I still wouldn’t count him out. Lyles has ran 19.9 this year so far already, and understand that the Olympics isn’t until mid to late summer. Pro athletes are trying to peak then. So even at the US olympic trials they shouldn’t be at their peak either (at least if their training goes according to schedule). I predict Lyles will be at 19.7 200m range by trials and hopefully bring 19.6 in Tokyo. He will definitely make the team however. Laird too but they thing with Laird is he’s had a long collegiate season. Burnout is a thing. Bromell is the favorite so far in the 100m for sure

    Although I am a UGA grad congrats to Laird for getting the double 100 and 200 m. He is definitely peaking at the right time. Now we will have to see if he can slay the current giant in the 200 in Noah Lyles. Boling when he improves his technique will be better and if someone could get Fahnbelluh some technical help then the US would have 3 young problems for the world in the 100 and 200 meters races. Lang looks good as well.
    By the way how in the hell does a major television station has such god awful camera angles on major event like this. The camera angles for this race was like watching someone's little league footage of their kid's game. That was terrible, couldn't even tell Fahnbelluh came up late to get second.

    • @RunBuddyRun
      @RunBuddyRun 3 года назад +8

      @Toldyou So It is definitely much more than an edge at this point. The competition is over, Laird is the dominant performer. Boling is one of the toughest competitors I've seen in years. He appears to give it all but he needs more technique over brute force.
      I think that once Fahnbelluh loses some weight that he will beat Boling consistently when they battle it out for another 1 or 2 years if they both stay in college. Fahnbelluh just doesn't have the turnover at this point because he carrying too much weight.
      Take Laird out of the picture because he is going pro. I actually think that Laird should withdraw from school right away, skip the NCAA championships and focus on the olympic trials. This is his moment. The Olympics are NOW and he's lucky to have peaked in an olympic year. He should seize the moment because no one knows what's going to happen when it comes around again. If he doesn't make the team, he can always go back to college in the fall to finish out his education.

Not even close. Jaylen is 2 years younger in high school running 20.1 in the 200m. Boling will turn 21 in 7 days. Usain ran his best time ever at 21 and so is many sprinters. When Usain went 9.58 im sure most ppl went, oh he’s onIy 21...so I disagree, Matt might wind up beating Terrance later in their pro career, but it would take Terrance being injured/outta shape. My prediction is whatever he runs next year at 22 years may end up being one of the fastest time he’ll ever run (wind legal). He went 10.15 wind legal this year. Laird has exceptional acceleration...but he has a bad habit of running with his hands open instead of making a fist. Too bad he didn't have a coach to break him of that habit. Why is that important you ask? Because it shortens your arms which means you can pump and move your arms faster which in turn translates to faster leg movement which translates to even faster times. I'm an ex sprinter from the '60s. I set 5 school records which still stand today. The 100yd dash, the 220yd dash, the 440yd dash, the 120HH, the 180yd Low Hurdles. I could see him MAYBE going 19.4-5 but 19.19 is literally NO MAN'S LAND. Unless your name is Usain Bolt. Amazing how tv sports can't ever seem to get a decent angle on the competition they're broadcasting. Did they all go to MTV video school?

    They spoke to soon on Boling. Terrance is the man. Boling a tough guy though and the other guy who finished 2nd.

    I raced Terrance once in a 4x4 relay my senior year in high school. I couldn’t catch him lol. I equaled my 4x4 PR (56.2) but he was still at least 7 seconds faster than me

    Bolling looked like he was have trouble holding form. 20.06 is PR. Of course when your trying to catch someone going that fast, you press.

      Boling might be in Georgia, but he trains with his high school coach. I guess that's part of the reason he went to Georgia..because they allow him to train at home. All his coach does is send his high school coach the training program. Also Boling went to a Jesuit hs and now attends a Jesuit college. Anything associated with Jesuits is very powerful. Like perhaps, any politician you know more than likely attended a jesuit school. I think his father might be associated with powerful ties so I don't think Boling is going to transfer anywhere. He'll sign a contract next year.

      Listen not ALL white folks are looking for a great white hope. Lord knows there are plenty of bigots out there but Some of us just love to see the best and couldn't give a shit what color they are. By the way there's something rather racist about saying ALL about any group of people.
